Then you'd just change type. But someone's personality is typically a set thing. There are some things about me that are impossible to change. You could stop being as stoic, I'm sure, but wouldn't it feel unnatural for you to stop being blunt? Wouldn't it be frustrating to worry about being so sensitive? We all have our types. It's not something to be ashamed of.

It helps me understand someone, if I can associate them with something. People are so strange and fascinating, it's impossible to be able to predict them if you don't have something to base your knowledge of them off of. By using types, I can more easily guess how someone will react. Sanageyama, for example, is the Hot-Blooded Delinquent Type. Because I know that about him, I know that he'll react enthusiastically if someone challenged him to a fight.
