Not that he wasn't concerned about what was going on back home, of course- he had so much to do, so much to plan for- but he wasn't exactly going to turn down the chance to enjoy some thrilling heroics in the meantime.
The crowds were something he was used to, the recognition and the squealing fans, and even though it was for a different reason than normal, he drank it in anyway... then decided to give his ink and paper manipulation powers a go. Someone eagerly handed him a notebook and pen, and he made a show of clumsily detaching the pages and splattering them with ink from the pen, all to some delighted oohs and ahhs despite the messiness.
His creation power? Well, that went even less well- his trying to make a car resulted in a broken toy car that vanished in a few moments anyway. Still, he'd keep trying.]
