I think competence impresses Jesse the most. When people seem to know how they're doing, know exactly how to do it, know how to do it with style and grace - whatever it happens to be. Jesse feels so confused and helpless all the time that it's nice when there's someone around who exudes confidence and can take the reins and he can trust that person to do a better job than he could. He likes to be a follower to these people, like Walt or Mike or even Gus.
Patience, kindness, mercy, and altruism also rank high as virtues that Jesse admires in people. He's had enough of violence being used to solve problems - and yes, he knows he's a hypocrite here, but that's why he admires other people and loathes himself. People who are like himself don't impress him. He is trash in his own eyes.
Aaaaand Jesse is easily impressed by luxury. He's a shallow person that way. People who dress with class, drive expensive cars, own private jets and yachts and mansions and islands... People like that have their shit together, he thinks. They're clearly the winners in life.
