oh geez that was an insensitive question. i feel compelled to apologize. I'M SORRY, i keep forgetting that tony's alcoholism is a serious thing in the comics, i haven't read any of them. i'll ixnay any further questions of that caliber.

to answer yours, NOT REALLY? i mean he wishes he was older in the way most kids do when they're told they aren't old enough to do something. they're like MAN I WISH I WAS 18 or MAN I WISH I WAS 21 but most of the time they mean MAN I WISH I COULD DO THIS THING I WANT TO DO. he doesn't actually want to be any older, he just wishes he could be treated like he was. he's mature!!!! he pays his rent on time!!!!

though with a lot of the alternate-league and a couple flash rogues showing up (and he can't call them 'his' rogues because they're barry's rogues in his universe), he sort of wish he was older so he'd stop getting these looks like he's some little kid who needs to be protected. WHY IS EVERYONE FROM THE FUTURE. he gets angry when people try to baby him or talk down to him, because he's been in the superhero business almost three years! three WHOLE years if you count what he's been doing here! he wants to be taken seriously as a hero and that means when he says "i'm on a black ops team" he doesn't get horrified looks from superman or power girl, and people don't creep up asking him if he has a guardian (hal, though that ended up working out for him), and nobody tries to teach him how to hero (piper, yikes)

of course, the way he tries to make himself look mature and capable is to...throw tantrums and then insist on doing everything himself. he's not very good at this ok he really isn't

OK SO LET'S TALK ABOUT JESUS MITCH. who has been his biggest inspiration? can be anybody, from back home or in MoM or C&C, whoever
