( THE DETAILS ) RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: Jonathan is basically what would happen if Jesus was born in Victorian England and was subsequently taught sunshine karate. He's built like a tank and is proficient in both hand-to-hand combat as well as various weaponry, the most notable being the sword. He knows how to fight with weird as shit superpowers, although he's still feeling out the abilities he got from the Porter. There's not a lot that he doesn't like, but he has a particularly soft spot for dogs, archaeology, sweets (although he'll deny it), family, and anyone he thinks of as family. It's pretty damn hard to get him riled up, but people who mistreat others (especially those weaker than them) or threaten the people that he loves are a pretty sure ticket to an ass beating. Also vampires still make him uneasy even if he knows they're not all the same here. Sorry guys.
What are your character's plans?: Jonathan honestly is just trying to make the most of the opportunity that being here is for him - he wants to spend time with family, make friends, and learn as much as he can about the future. I think the biggest goal he has beyond MAKE SURE NOTHING BAD HAPPENS TO MY BABIES AGAIN is to try and start contributing to the archaeological field. He's more than a little emotionally compromised after Dio being returned home, so he's trying to recover from that as well.
OH RIGHT. Jonathan's also going to be going to the Bahamas sometime this month to rescue his dumbass probation charge, Annie. He may or may not remember to tell anyone he's leaving.
Does your character have a secret identity?: No, he's too gigantic for that.
Is your character open for pairings?: Jonathan is engaged at home and the kind of guy who will be faithful for literally eternity, but feel free to have your character crush on him if you'd like! I think it's hilarious.
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: Yes, I am! His life/fighting style revolves around getting the shit kicked out of him.
Is your character interested in teams?: He'll team up with anyone who needs help, but he's not actively looking for a group.
What kind of plots are you after?: Again, I'm up for anything! But I'm also looking for Jonathan to make more good friends as opposed to just superficial acquaintance cr, since a lot of his close non-castmate cr has dropped recently. It'd also be really neat to fill the Dio-shaped hole in his life with people who want to manipulate or just straight-up creep on him in a super unhealthy way, since Jonathan seems to attract those people in his life. Someone trying to take advantage of his compassion only to find out too late that it doesn't stop him from doing what's right would be cool too! And like I said before, I'm always interested in shit that involves Jonathan getting the shit kicked out of him, especially if he's taking it to protect someone else. He's also looking for a daily sparring partner now that Killua and Gon have left.
