Riza is kind of fascinated by Jonathan's..family-ness. She was not on good terms with her father so Jonathan's essential "Family is <3" is kind of...confusing to her.

I think they could get along rather well.

This has the potential for her superior officer to also get jealous because. That's what he does. Even if they are just chatting/friendly etc.
