What is your character's job?: And are they sticking with it? Enjoying it? Coordinate with potential coworkers, employers, or patrons -- why not!

RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: What are they good at, what do they hate, what do they need (and so on) so that others know what they can offer you.

Oh, yeah. Exactly. He's been running from actually sitting down and thinking about/dealing with things in canon too, which Hohenheim comments on as to why they burned the house down and all.

I just figured it could easily be a thing that if Crane did give him something to take home like pills each day or whatever that Winry might ask if she noticed is all, as one possibility. Though like I said it could easily be a case of her not recognizing it because of the time difference.

I'm curious about what Winry would ask; and her asking isn't a problem, since it's the sort of thing she'd notice. Might be interesting to have Crane discuss medical advancements with her, too. Though if he was prescribing Ed medication, there'd be a few things. A willingness to explore what he's willing from - and if medication would help him get to the place where that can happen, he'd prescribe it.

... Though. Crane wouldn't want to keep Ed calm at the end of things, given his shtick. Though he could help without any strings in order to bolster his public reputation.

She would have all sorts of questions about Ed being on medication, as she's presumably dealt with PTSD (aka "soldier's heart" from her time period) before. She might be okay with it at first, considering, but if she noticed Ed acting differently, she'd think something else could be up.

I think the questions she'd have would be different if Ed had prescribed meds to take at home, versus injections Crane would have to give in person. Which I think he'd do at his clinic, since it's his professional setting for the ImPort community, per say.

This is all coming out in the plurk, but if you have specific questions or things you want to happen, I'm all ears.

And Ed would probably be unwilling to discuss any injections he was getting.

I mentioned to Caprica that, as Winry's a touch healer, she might be able to figure out soemthing's going on if she lays her hands on Ed. Obviously, this wouldn't happen right up front, because where's the fun in that?

Interesting! I imagine that power might be able to tell her whatever's inside Ed isn't calming him down at all? That though she might not understand all the science behind it [omg receptors and all that stuff] it's working to increase fear/anxiety.

... Which might make Crane say. 1) Anyone can lay their hands on anyone and say anything even if it's false. 2) Do you know how neuro-receptors work? 3) Ed needs to face his fears. 4) He has a number of happy customers, tyvm.

Well, she does work with nerve connections, but yes, she'd be able to decipher the meds are not helping Ed.

She's kind of...fearless sometimes? She's willing to stand up to mass murderers in her own canon. (I swear the girl has no sense of self-preservation whatsoever.) And she'd do anything to protect the people she cares about.

This is just if she happened to notice him taking the pills at some point, if it were meds he did need to take home and not just some injection each time he goes to see Crane or something. Ed himself probably wouldn't really ask much as to what the medication is, just go off Crane's explanation on how it is supposed to help and roll with it.

But no. Calm Ed wouldn't be fun for him, that would ruin it.

Like I plurked, I'll need to look up the various medications, and will be doing so when we've made headway in their thread. Injections can lead to scary places since Crane can perhaps supplement them with er, his own medical inventions, to keep Ed antsy.

They'd also lead to some really interesting CR, since he'll have to go to get them done. Always a good reason to thread.

Ha. Yup, exactly. Plus, if we go with 2003 aspects of Ed as well, he's a big baby with injections too. So Crane would have immense fun with that on top of the experimenting he'd get to do, I'm sure.

Such sharp, pointy objects, needles. Crane'll make sure Ed gets a good luck at them before he jabs one in his backside. Depot injections are given into the muscle but that depends if Ed will require the meds traditionally used for it. Hrm.

And clearly he needs to make the glove he has in the Arkham game series, now.
