TL;DR cr meme

THE TL;DR CR Meme

It's that time again and why not start it off with a heart warming and tragic foreshadowing gif?

1. Post with your characters - if you have more than one, make a catch all under one header.
2. respond to other people's characters with your characters.
3. They will tell you exactly what their character thinks of your character in depth! Icly or oocly! Make it long, this is teal deer territory after all.
4. React if you wish!
5. You can use this stuff for cr charts or you can even link to something you have written.
6. This is brought to you by irony from one of the more unfriendly characters in game.

Yes. Meanwhile I will be here hugging him forever. Precious. Let Gogo adopt you as another brother. Like every other DC kid she's met. She's going to find herself with a strange family that she has no one where they came from.

oh hello.

The best way to describe Pakunoda's feelings about Raina so far is 'curious'. Superficially, Raina is a gorgeous woman and Paku can definitely appreciate that. But it's clear that there's more to her than just being attractive, and that's what she wants to know more about. Admittedly, it's mostly because of the research she's doing on imPorts and looking into imPort abilities - Paku wants to rifle through Raina's mind and memories to see if there's something she can use, or even just see if she has any abilities that Chrollo might like. But there's a more genuine curiosity there, too. With what Raina showed her during the last swear-in, it's clear enough that she's good with manipulation, but Paku wants to find out more and see what else is there. What else she's actually capable of than just making other people fight for her.

With Pakunoda it's really hard for her to really care about anyone outside of the Troupe just because of the nature of the whole group and where they're from. But! I'd definitely like to see them really get to see the less fake sides of one another, and whenever that does happen I think Paku will have a much better appreciation of her. Not quite friends, but more genuinely friendly, and she'd definitely think of her as a potentially useful ally.

also, they should def arrange to go on that outing/~*~date~*~ to a firing range sometime soon

OKAY let's start with Ellie first!

Jaime adores Ellie. That much has been consistent from the beginning, and it's not likely to change, not without damn good reason. I'll probably outline that in my next blurb, but I think it's starting to become rapidly clear to him how not okay she is. He's already known that she's a troubled soul -- there's a certain kind of sadness to her that's perfectly understandable, given what he knows about her past; she's lost her eye, lost her family and friends and entire life to a scourge that she can't see any end to. He's always known all that, but having her talk about leaving Isaac behind to fight alone and seeing into her dreams really makes it clear just how much the events of the past haunt her, and how the knowledge of what she has waiting for her in the future continues to haunt her. He doesn't agree with what she'd been planning to do, or how protective she seems to be over Isaac when they're supposed to be taking care of each other - which he's made pretty clear - but he can't say he doesn't understand it.

So yeah, he worries, but he doesn't know how to help. She's already told him so much more than he'd expect her to tell someone she sees as a kid, and he's starting to figure out how limited he is when it comes to helping with his friends' mental health. Which isn't to say he doesn't try, but gosh!!! HOW DO YOU HELP PERFECTLY LEGITIMATE PROBLEMS???? It's not like he can tell her not to be so worried about all the things she's worried about because it only makes sense. As it turns out, rational fears are a little harder to deal with, so while he'll be giving it thought, his focus will be on being there for her, and trying to make her happy in the here and now, as much as he's able.

As for things that have nothing to do with poor Ellie's many, many issues? He adores her. He thinks she has a real appreciation for life that Jaime's never had (he's spoiled for the nice, everyday things that she can't take for granted), and when he's with her, it's like he can look through her eyes for a second. Even after so much, she's still a kind, good, gentle soul to him, and Jaime really treasures that. She also treats him like he's... as old as he is, which is kind of foreign to him after all this time, but there's an embarrassed part of him that kind of likes it. He's used to having his family around to fuss, and the fact that there's someone that will, even if he doesn't need it, is kind of nice. He really enjoys her company, and she's easily one of his favourite people.

He just worries, that's all.

Death is someone Sabriel regards with a weird mixture of awe, friendship, and absolute respect. She trusts Death in ways she doesn't trust most other people- she's comfortable talking about things like death and necromancy in a way she isn't comfortable with doing with most people, and she's someone Sabriel will look to for advice and guidance on said topic.

Olivier is someone Sabriel respects- she doesn't crave her approval, but she's competent, and Sabriel thinks that RISE is a really good idea- one she wants to help with.

as you said, they haven't had any serious interactions yet, but so far his thoughts are... not positive, lmao. (though to be fair, he dislikes almost everyone so it's nothing too out of the ordinary)

When Crocodile first met Sabriel, he thought she was an annoying child and that quickly turned to thinking who she was an annoying child who was incompetent and didn't understand her powers or how to use them. From there, his opinion of her hasn't really changed, especially after sitting back and watching how that mess with Melkor unfolded. Though she stopped him, so. At least she has that going for her???

(rofl i'm sorry croc is a huge dick.)

well gosh hi

Crocodile wants to know more about Crane. Not because he's genuinely curious or really wants to get to know him, but because he has the potential to be very useful in the future. He's a psychiatrist who treats other imPorts, which means he has intimate information on the people here that would be very nice to know.

But other than that, Crocodile has picked up that Crane is definitely not the compassionate psychiatrist he tries to make himself out to be in public, and he wants to see what else there is to that. What is it that he's hiding, and more importantly, is it something that Crocodile can make use of? Is it something that can beneficial to him, or is Crane just some tool who thinks himself better than everyone else, but has no way to make it so?

Crocodile isn't sure, but he wants to find out.

From what Gaara's seen of Sai so far, he thinks he's a pretty solid guy! There's the whole blah blah Naruto's teammate, friend of his is a friend of mine thing, and the whole blah blah, the Leaf are allies of the Sand, etc, naturally.

BUT aside from that, and on a more personal level, Gaara is comfortable with Sai in that he doesn't have to try and relate or be friendly or anything like that. Sai is very much a soldier, and with him Gaara can very much be a commander. He doesn't have to worry about what he says or how he says it (not that he really does that overmuch anyway.....) and he doesn't have to try and socialize, like how everybody else here in this backwards world expects him to be. Smalltalk and the like. Nope, not with Sai; with Sai, Gaara can just go "progress report" and Sai will give him one, and then they'll exchange info and then be on their way. No muss, no fuss.

Sai's really professional and just gives Gaara the basics without muddying anything up with his own personal feelings. He's great at taking an objective look at a situation and breaking it down into components, and Gaara appreciates it because it means he doesn't have to wade through explanations of "well this guy was a jerk and here's why." It's all just fact. Easy to process. It's like having some of his best men around him again.

Maybe eventually Gaara will feel inclined (or obligated or what-have-you) to try and know Sai on a more personal level, but not yet. Right now, he's just glad there's someone around he can count on for good intel.

RIKU IS FUN. Riku's fun because he's so line-faced about stuff, even when he's slinging around insults. He's also difficult to rile up so Wally enjoys the challenge. He seems like a chill guy; kind of reminds him of Jaime a little bit, except Jaime is whinier.

Wally likes going to hang out with him whenever he sees him, but he hasn't gone out of his way to contact the guy except to tease him. He could do with being a little bit nicer...BUT IT'S JUST SO FUN TO PULL ON HIS PIGTAILS THO

NO WHY WOULD I EVER DO THAT

[personal profile] runningstart 2015-06-11 04:29 am (UTC)(link)
hahashldfkjf SO WOW Y'KNOW HOW THEY WERE MAKING PROGRESS TOWARD TENTATIVE TOLERANCE/FRIENDSHIP

that is a thing of the past. wally doesn't outright HATE klarion, but he's right back into dislike after that display. him grabbing teekl had been his (invasive) way of making nice and joking around with klarion, and the reaction to it was (in HIS opinion) extreme and unwarranted. WHY WOULD HE HURT YOUR STUPID CAT, HE'S NOT THE SUPERVILLAIN HERE. GOD.

what he really doesn't want to admit was that he'd gotten comfortable with the idea of teasing klarion, had kind of accepted that klarion wasn't a threat and then got a very sharp reminder that klarion is still in fact a witch boy. and that reminded him way too much of the klarion back home, whom wally hates quite a bit so. YEAH. SORRY KLARION.

LMASGSDL DID HE REALLY

never tell kid flash he'll be fucking insufferable

kid still thinks this blonde kid is a jerk and a show off. which is hahahahahhahahaha hilarious coming from this little asshole. it's a shame because if he wasn't being such a competitive chest-pounding dick around edward, he might actually enjoy talking science with him. they could hate on magic together and insist that everything has a scientific explanation........although wally might side-eye the whole 'gate of truth' thing if he ever happened to hear about it.

he might be a little smug if he learns that ed and winry ended up getting together (okay a lot smug) and he would (wrongfully) take a lot of credit for it, but beyond that he'd rather avoid edward. their personalities don't mesh well.

PETER SEEM LIKE A COOL DUDE. it's actually kind of funny, because wally gets all offended and shit at all the adults around him like the bratty teenager he is, but he and peter get along like normal. because starlord is a child, lbr

NO BUT he's funny and he's fun to hang out with and mess around with, and wally likes harassing the guy. he's also a superhero nerd and enjoys using a cool codename like starlord so that's another bonus.
