Glitch has a very high opinion of Star-Lord and so far they're probably one of his best friends here in this world, which says a lot. Glitch takes a personal interest in Peter because a) the guy's been to space and space is always been an interest to Glitch and b) he doesn't act like every adult he's met here. Glitch feels he can at least relate to Star-Lord a lot better than most adults and while he doesn't quite understand why, he goes with it. Probably due to the fact Peter's just an overgrown kid, but, more accurately because they have a lot more in common than Glitch would admit. From what the kid knows about Peter, Glitch knows that they seemed to miss out on some stuff too. It's a weird feeling knowing there was someone else out there who missed out on a bunch of stuff too (even if Peter still had a life despite that.)
At first, Glitch only saw Peter as someone of interest due to the space thing and because the man looked like a good sizeable wall of meat to hide behind if need be. However, that's changed steadily to someone who he see's as a person who's funny and surprisingly friendly.
Then the pestilence thing happened. While Glitch had something of a decent opinion of Peter before it's shifted into "i will stab people in the eye for this guy" deal. With pulling him off the street and offering him comfort, Glitch is surprised Peter would do that. After all, he sort of just expected people to run and hide from something like that. Also there's a part of him that'd never admit it openly but he was moved a little by Peter's whole "I won't kill you I'll fix you no matter what" deal. He still thinks Peter is dumb for thinking they could fix it, but, it's touching to know Peter would go that far for him.
All in all, Peter's a bro and has won Glitch's loyalty. A gift not to be squandered or given to many people.
