When she first arrived, Touka wasn't very convinced she'd make any "real" friends here. They're only around temporarily, after all, and most people're looking to get back home.

But Sabriel won her over really fast- from offering to teach others healing magic, to her trusting nature, to the fact that she accepted Kaneki as a ghoul...Everything just made it easier for Touka to feel comfortable around her. She really values their friendship and she's grateful to have someone she actually does feel comfortable spending time with. She loves that Sabriel's a friend she can do totally mundane things with and still go on completely weird adventures with the next day.

It's hard to say if she'd actually ever willingly bring up her identity as a ghoul, because there's always going a part of her that's terrified of anyone finding out. But if Sabriel ever asked, she'd want to be honest...and she'd feel more comfortable discussing it with her than most other people at this point.

And she definitely dreads the fact that they probably will end up separated at some point or another.
