THE TL;DR CR Meme
It's that time again and why not start it off with a heart warming and tragic foreshadowing gif?

1. Post with your characters - if you have more than one, make a catch all under one header. It's that time again and why not start it off with a heart warming and tragic foreshadowing gif?

2. respond to other people's characters with your characters.
3. They will tell you exactly what their character thinks of your character in depth! Icly or oocly! Make it long, this is teal deer territory after all.
4. React if you wish!
5. You can use this stuff for cr charts or you can even link to something you have written.
6. This is brought to you by irony from one of the more unfriendly characters in game.

But holy shit, talk about a guy after her own heart. Someone else, finally, who understands the need to just go. To move, to run, to always be doing something. And the faster you go, the better the thrill. And not only that? But to understand it as well. All of her friends are really smart, seeing as how they all go to an institute for technology, but they all major in their own talents and she is so happy to be able to sit down with someone and talk about this particular passion with.
So far it's also allowed her to push aside the issues she's dealing with right now, but that's really just a plus in her book.
She's grateful that he's been there pretty much since she's arrived. Will never regret that first comment she made on the network, and will one day be more than happy to consider him family. She's already done some research on her own so that she can be prepared for what he might need should anything like that damn blob monster happen again. She'd ask him if he wanted to train with her except she knows she'd just hold him back from any sort of training that'd be useful to him.
She doesn't feel like a hero, but she knows he's one, and ngl that's really cool?? She's super impressed, but he's weird enough that it's not like... hero worship. He's just a guy, but a really cool guy. He fits right in, tbh.
rp goals: one day learning who he is. One day.
Like the first time she ever meets him as Wally, lbhI COULD PROBABLY GO ON, BUT WOW.

She hasn't quite figured out how to feel about Jaime. Things have just been happening everywhere and sitting down and analyzing these dreams is not really something she'd been able to devote her time to until about..today?
In the dream (which I will tag today I swear) she'd kind of latched onto him at first as not only the only other person there, but the only person who really paid attention to her. At a time when her loneliness was pretty much choking her (thanks satan) Jaime kind of got a psychological shortcut into her life. They're not friends yet? But I'm sure by the end of the roadtrip they will be.
He came for her, tried to get her away from their nightmares, and then tried to tell her to run and save herself when he was caught. That kind of self sacrificing means something. Also she thought he was a bit of an idiot, because no. Like she was going to make him face that alone. She hates being alone unless it's by her own terms. There was no question that she'd give him the same respect and make sure he had someone to share whatever was going to happen with.
It's so far turned out....interesting for them, if not entirely well. We'll see where it goes.

In all seriousness: Even though that was legitimately her first reaction to him, fresh off of wave of not wanting to trust anyone, not wanting to care about anyone, just wanting to absorb herself in her work and do something awesome (because being a lonely person and wanting to be left alone is really difficult), somewhere in there she got tired of being cold in the face of this genuinely warm person who didn't seem to want anything from her. So what the hell? What could it hurt to take him up on his offer and go sit in on lunch with him and his small group of friends.
It all went downuphill from there. She'll always be grateful that he never let her just...sit on the outside and listen. That he took the effort to engage her and gave the impression that she was just as important as the rest of them. That she didn't have to fight for attention. This is something she feels towards all of them, but it started with Tadashi. It was Tadashi that initially took an interest in what she was working on, gave tips when she got stuck.
She considered dating him like...once...but it turned into 'nah, man' because if she really had to sit down and put a word to it this is what she assumes it felt like to have a brother. It was an extension of Callaghan, in a way, because they both pushed her to be better and it was something she had needed in her life in a very long time.
She loves him, and when he died it was devastating. But hey, she loses people, and that's just the way the world works, and it was so much more important to support his ACTUAL family that her own grief was mostly dealt with privately. He was still so important and she was determined to do her best in honor of his memory, and if that meant also protecting his little brother, then god dammit she'll adopt Hiro into her tiny little family too. Crazy robots and superhero shenanigans and all.
Then she came to MoM and it just...it kind of exploded in her chest a little and she doesn't...know what to do. She grieved, and moved on, and they were going to catch the person who caused his death so there would be justice, and here Tadashi is alive and, while not ignorant? completely apart still from what happened.
She is so happy he's alive but she doesn't really know what to do with him yet. On the one hand she wants to hug him more, and scold him for being reckless, and love him for being the kind of person who'd risk his life, but on the other hand he hasn't died yet, so does any of that even apply right now? Can she even feel any of that when he's standing there smiling at her?
She's struggling between going back to the way everything was before the fire, and accepting that it is a thing that will hang over them no matter what she says. She doesn't want to make him uncomfortable with the 'so, you're going to die', but at the same time she wants to never let him out of her sight. For that chance to see him again before it all goes down. That one more time, as if it'll hurt less the next time around to have some kind of closure with him.
Which naturally means her reaction is to pretend nothing is wrong at all and avoid the topic entirely. Unfortunately since Tadashi IS the topic...well.

She likes the coffee and always buys the same muffin every time she's there.
She'd give Cass progress reports on how Hiro is doing and everything.
ALTHOUGH, from the canonpoint I took her from, Gogo's experience with Cass is still during the whole armor creation montage. So they've met, and Gogo thinks she's nice and all, but isn't really up to par with the emotional part. She's heard a lot of stories, and thinks she's probably a great aunt, but has yet to really experience it for herself.

Mind you, over time this opinion has faded a lot. Heiji doesn't really hold grudges so it went from 'THAT KID' to 'oh him' as Heiji got used to being a part of this world and got busier with all the shit that's been happening in Maurtia Falls. Even without the dream shenanigans that was going on, it's very likely that if they came across each other Heiji would have been perfectly fine with holding a conversation with him so long as Glitch didn't insult him right off the bat. Although knowing the two of them, even with a mild undertone of annoyance it could have easily devolved back into a bitching match.
But the dream stuff did happen, and Glitch woke him up (regardless of how thanks, kid). The disaster happening put Heiji right into business mode and all of his own personal feelings were kind of shifted off to the side. So now he's seeing Glitch as this scared, but incredibly capable kid (why do you keep calling him kid, he's only like...a year younger than you), and where Heiji's from that actually means a lot. His world isn't apocalypse style or anything, but there are an obscene amount of murders and a dark organization underneath it all that add up to some serious dangers, and everyone Heiji knows that's involved is either a teenager or even younger.
Glitch is earning his respect just from being able to still do something for people despite this clear phobia he has of what's happening. It takes a lot of strength to do that. So he still thinks he's a bit of an ass, but he's an intelligent ass and that counts for a lot. At some point in the future if shit goes down, Heiji wouldn't hesitate to trust Glitch with something important if it came down to it.
Mind you I didn't know half of this until I started writing it. This has been a learning experience for us both.

Heiji still doesn't know Riku very well, but he likes him. Riku is fun and kinda cool. And with everything happening he hadn't gotten the chance to really spar with him, but he hasn't forgotten (maybe during the swear-in?).
He really appreciates his sense of humor. Talking with Riku in New York did a lot to make him more comfortable being in a strange new place, and he is so amused that their conversation consist of cat thieves and giant chickens. I mean, in what world is that normal? And yet.
He appreciates knowing people who aren't all 'murders ~everywhere~', as much as he loves to work on cases. Riku is one of the very few people he's met so far that isn't related in the slightest to any of the shit that's been going down. It makes him safe and normal, in a way.
He'll definitely have to try a bit harder to keep in touch (which is mostly mun failing.) so expect more from him~

Re: Heiji

Okay so Heiji really likes him. Being somewhere unknown and having someone else be immediately so respectful of his culture (which Hei is super proud of to a fault) was really uplifting. It made him feel like less of a stranger which, while it wasn't something he consciously noticed at the time? Helped a lot.
Literally. The second he called Osaka a lovely city he earned Heiji's loyalty. (Mind you he still wouldn't break the law for him, that's solely reserved for his best friend, but well.)
One day he's going to follow up with this CR, which is a shame that it hadn't happened yet cause since New York SO MUCH has gone on that Heiji's just been running himself ragged, but Xanatos is still right there on his contacts list and I certainly look forward to getting them more CR.
