Alchemists are...scientists who can recreate things into different kinds of things. Like, my boyfriend can clap his hands and touch the ground and make a spear out of the minerals in the soil.

A chimera is a person who's had animalistic tendencies grafted to them. But sometimes they look human and sometimes they look like animals.

And then there're the homunculi but I really don't know anything about them except they exist.
