As always when faced with times like these, he buries his true reaction very deep down, and forces a veneer of logic and reason onto his face. Not a poison that killed, but one that drugged. Like a nerve agent. It doesn't make the thought any more pleasant. ]

An attack. A terrorist attack?

[ Gansey's world is one that he intentionally steeps in history, but that doesn't make him unaware of the living world. His politically minded parents are in his head, making him think of policies and stances. Who is in charge here, he wonders? What kind of world is this? What kind of America is this? ]
