[Being the center of focus...or getting a lot of attention's definitely not something he's used to. And its abnormal amount, even compared to other Imports passing by. Even ones that're a lot more distinguishable than him. Nearly everyone turns to catch a glance, and a lot of them just stare or stop to talk to him. It's like they can't ignore him.
And the further Jaekyu walks, the more uncomfortable he looks. Hands shoved into his pocket, awkwardly shuffling down the street with his eyes glued to the sidewalk. Whenever someone stops him for a question or a complement, he waves them off with a few quite words and a dismissive wave of his hands.]
Sorry...I think you've got the wrong person.
[It doesn't do any good.
All of the quick glances...the staring. What kind of person gets sent to a world where they can be a "hero" and get "powers"...and ends up with the ability to make people notice them? What kind of awful luck do you have to have? Luck like his, apparently.]
Any City
[What Jaekyu hasn't realized quite yet, is that his power works both ways. People might notice him more or less.
So when it's getting late and he wanders into a store after business hours while they're closing up- no one stops him. It isn't completely obvious that they're done for the day...workers are running around doing menial tasks and cleaning. Which they could be doing at just about any time of the day. It seems pretty ordinary- it's just a slow night and there aren't other customers.
It's only when they've closed the doors, locked them, and pulled the gate down that he realizes there's...a problem. And he's left standing there, staring from behind the locked doors out at the staff members as they walk away.
He doesn't even react at first because he's so startled, but eventually he'll start banging on the glass and waving- hoping someone will do something?]
