( THE DETAILS ) RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: She’s primarily a combat AI What are your character's plans?: She is on the list to be kidnapped in the upcoming plot and will be involved in planning/attempting escapes since sitting and waiting for rescue isn’t her style. Likely to get herself into trouble though she’ll be hoping to at least get some information back to help with rescue.
Aside from the plot, she is contemplating becoming unsettled and moving farther away from the government to become more self-sufficient. This very much depends on how things go with the upcoming plot and her CR. Beyond that, no plans set in stone. Does your character have a secret identity?: Ish. She goes by Texas/Tex, but it’s less a secret identity and more an alias since she prefers that to her real name (Allison Moran). Is your character open for pairings?: Kind of! This is heavily dependent on how she hits it off with other people and she comes with some canon romantic baggage. Canonly she is an AI of a scientist’s dead wife . Said scientist made an AI of himself and his memories/love of her was so strong decades later, she was accidentally created/splintered off as her own AI. So there’s always going to be that romantic attachment there and she currently lives with the AI of that scientist plus a fragmented AI that also fancies himself to be like his creator (Leonard Church aka Alpha and Epsilon).
Beyond fragmented memories of a past life and very complicated feelings of her identity, she hasn’t had a chance to find someone that likes her and doesn’t have residual feelings / programming tied to it. She’s not likely to be upfront about the aforementioned boyfriend and if anything happens, it entirely depends on if her interest is sufficiently caught though it’s not likely to progress beyond a few dates. Can definitely change depending on how things go and I’m always open to IC consequences/fallout.
Basically being in Mask or Menance is like being able to have her own romantic interests if she wants, though she is intrinsically tied Church/Alpha. Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: Yes! I am open to having her hurt depending on the situation. Is your character interested in teams?: Depends entirely on the team. She was a soldier/mercenary back home, so she can be tempted to work with others and has before, but she has a habit of going lone wolf at times. What kind of plots are you after?: I am interested in her being more open about being an AI and maybe talking with other ones that are here since she’s been keeping that part of herself on the downlow. She’s not used to people being nice or friendly towards her, though that is slowly changing and getting personal information out of her depends on asking the right questions at the right times, so getting close can take some persistence. I am also always amused at her mama bearing at younger imports since she has strong opinions on how children shouldn’t be dragged into this mess.
Mostly though, I wing it plot-wise and am always happy to brainstorm or jump into new CR. Anything else?:
