Pick any of the following scenarios below or feel free to make up your own, but don't be afraid to throw yourself at someone else's thread, either!

01. The city of Heropa is what one might expect from a small, bright and cheery place, where locals are friendly enough and local shop owners might offer a free drink to welcome you to their fair city. Some of the locals might thank you for always lending your service to the nation and others might not say anything. In fact, some people might back away from any imPort who quite obviously looks like they aren't from around the neighborhood. Once in a while there's a look of disdain on someone's face and hushed voices. An upset voice wonders aloud: "More of them, when we already know they can't protect us? That's just painting a bigger target on the city's back!" However, they're quickly hushed with a judgmental: "They helped save the cities, and it's the Soviets you should be angry with anyway! The imPorts are here to protect us!"

02. De Chima, Virginia, is a large city with a healthy economy, and though it's quieter, there are just as many citizens awed at your presence. Many people are out and about taking care of their regular business, but that doesn't distract them from crowding you in excitement if you're obviously from a different time or world, or just let it slip that you're a newcomer. Children and young teenagers are especially likely to ask for an autograph and a photo.

Some locals seem less enthused to see you. They never make an approach, but they can be overheard scoffing and muttering something about spies. "How can we trust any of them now?"

03. Maurtia Falls, Pennsylvania, is not as friendly and its citizens tend to go out of their way to avoid walking down the same sidewalk as the more obvious looking imPorts pass through. Local cops say nothing, but they scowl at those imPorts and mutter under their breaths resentfully about "vigilantes". However, not all locals turn the other way seeing imPorts; some of them will offer a polite enough smile and thank them for their help in overthrowing the trespassers. They don't stop to clarify what they mean, though.

04. Nonah, North Carolina, is the liveliest of all cities; loud, busy and there's some kind of energy in the air that gets everyone buzzing with excitement. Anyone who they come to determine an imPort is bombarded with all sorts of offers; job offers, advertising gigs, spokesperson for advocating children stay in school, etc. Anything and everything! You name it. Shops offer discounts for food and clothing, whatever they need. Advertisements are abound for imPorts to make appearances at various, televised celebrations, luring them in with promises of free food, merchandise, and payment.

[Adrien blinks at her before letting out a little laugh, it's short and quickly reigned in.]

Perhaps I'm understating how bad it is.

[He gives a little nod.] Maybe. It's certainly strange. Heropa is such a mixed bag and this place seems to hate us. But Nonah... It's something. It was almost like being back home. [Minus any familiar landmarks in the skyline.]

Enough that I would've liked a heads-up when I got here. [He gives her a rueful little smile.] Nothin' like being told that you're supposed to be someone else's best friend. But hey, at least the heroes from the other universes are all pretty great.

Alright, fair point, I'm afraid stupidity is a universal constant. The cars don't make up for it, but at least they're fun!

I should have found you. [Oh, she's angry, but not at Stephanie. This isn't fair. She doesn't know what to do with herself right now, but Steph is here, she's alive, so what else matters? Cass tightens her grip, shaking.]

They're pretty cool. Have they got hover skateboards, yet? Because that's where I for one want this technology to go.

No, you didn't-- [Stephanie may have made a mistake, but it was Leslie's fault in the end.]

You didn't do anything. [As much as it hurt to lose her, she doesn't want to blame her for what happened. There were so many times in the past several months she had needed her, even just for someone from home to rely on, or with the chaos in Bludhaven and then Maurtia Falls, but she couldn't resent Steph for a second for not being there.]

[ Definitely not letting go, like, ever. It may be time for Steph to cry into Cass' hair. ]

Actually, yes! They were giving them out at a swear-in last year, I think. I still have mine somewhere. I'm not sure if it still works, but you can have it if you like. The stupid thing kept throwing me off.

[ it didn't, Klarion just has terrible balance and sucks at riding skateboards. ]

[ He says, as blasé as he always is about the fact. One lives with immortality for 200 or so years, and it just seems to be average after a point. He held out a hand to nudge him along the road, although his walk is as slow and languorous as ever. ]

But they have changed around us. Perhaps you'd like the grand tour, to get yourself back on your feet?

Well. Naturally. [ He's just trying to make conversation, gosh...but no, having Shade around cheers him up immensely. He seems to feel better already. ]

That would be good, yes. The changes certainly are a lot to take in.

And yet... [ As they walk along, he speaks up, when they come to an intersection, where a hero of some sort or another zooms by. ]

The more they change, the more they stay the same.

[ A longer pause, this time. ] The Flash is here -- our Flash, as well as the second and third.

Only the third is likely to even recognize our names, however. It's... Odd.

[ Shade is still so disappointed. ]

I suppose it's all dimensional oddities at this point. [ He's a bit sad to hear that, but he didn't expect three Flashes, that's for certain. He watches the hero go in hot pursuit of some criminal or other, not really taking in details. ]

It must be hard for you - how long has it been? [ He knows Shade misses Opal, and things have changed so dramatically...but he's still here. ] But I'm sure you're finding ways to occupy your time, at the very least.

Fair warning, I may not actually drink the coffee. [ She shoves her hands in the pockets of her jacket, turning so she can fall into step next to Ruby if possible. ] Might have to ask for tea.

[ She's kidding around a little. Perhaps the wrong time for it, but maybe... ]

I guess I'll have to see Nonah for myself next - if only to know what that kind of place is like. But...maybe I'll only stay for a day. It sounds like it can be overwhelming. Are you really used to something like that at home?
