TONY FOR HYPERION Tony is kind of a red alert for Hyperion. Authority figures never sat well with him, much less when they want to impose control and watch him closely. Obviously Hyperion can't talk much because his criminal record is anything but squeaky clean, and he doesn't plan to take much of an advantage of a fresh start in Heropa. Wanting control over people never ends up well in his experience, and he doesn't see this turning out differently. Hyperion won't necessarily do anything about it, though.
MITCH FOR CHRISTINE You said Christine would eat him alive, and you'd be absolutely right. Granted Christine only hit on him for fun and because she can, and doesn't exactly plan to pursue it now that she's with Renee. Still, he's a source of amusement and she enjoys making such a supposedly powerful and influential man squirm under her hands.
OZZIE FOR CHRISTINE She's met Ozzie's kind over and over again, and knows how to navigate her way through it rather well. She knows she can give him just enough without having to go all the way, and that's how she'd rather keep it. You can look but you can't touch would summarize how she feels about him.
Shade for Christine Her Sassy Immortal Friend. She enjoys having male friends without necessarily having their relationship go to the next level, and he fills all the requirements for that. He's got class, taste, and knowledge she can actually learn from. Christine is very much interested in his immortality and may or may not try to see if she can have a taste of it some day.
SHADE FOR COLE Cole doesn't really know what to think of him just yet. The advice he's given Cole is certainly unusual, and it's plain to see that Shade is something beyond human - he just doesn't know what. ARE YOU SECRETLY DEAD!!
