Renee is definitely someone that Ellie could see herself considering a friend in this place. She feels weird thinking about making friends again since all of her previous friends have died horrible deaths, but she feels oddly comfortable around Renee and can’t really help liking her. She also likes the fact that Renee doesn’t really push, she just takes things as they come and lets Ellie be vague if she wants to be vague. She’s also super appreciative of the help that she’s offered her, she thought it was really sweet that she was willing to come home from a long day of her own just to try to help her out with her issues with powers. That in itself has shown her that Renee is definitely a person who cares even if Ellie does also get the distinct impression that there’s a lot Renee keeps inside.

She’s really pretty interested in getting to know her better. If she ever needed help in anyway Ellie would probably volunteer without too many questions.
