[ At that response, Barry just shrugs...or more like attempts to shrug but oh yeah, he's still getting held in place by the bells. At that, he just shoots Sabriel a look that's pure "oh come ON." ]

I guess I would. Cause...well what, there's fifty of us here right now? [ Or maybe more, who knows, Barry doesn't. ] And, um, I heard that people get brought in every month. So what, assume that five people get ported in every month, that'd be sixty people in a year. If you smash the machine then, um, that'll save those sixty people from getting yanked to this stupid world in the first place. Five years from now, it'd be...something like four hundred people that weren't brought to this place.

[ It's truly amazing how practical Barry sounds. Even as he trips over his words and makes pauses here and there, he's talking about this with an air that's almost detached. ]

And, um, compare that fifty who are stuck to the four hundred people that aren't here. It's simple mathematics.
