[Florida, it had to be Florida. Of all the blasted cities in the United States of America he had to end up in Florida. Cy's head hurt enough from the transport here but once topside it's ten times worse. The sun beating down on him makes him feel weak and it hurts his eyes even though he's wearing sunglasses.]
How the hell is the sun worse here than anywhere else? [He's not really asking anyone this as he brings his unread file up to shield his face from the sun.]
2 (sorta) [The one good thing about Florida is the beach. A shame it's kind of painful to go to the bead during the day for this vampire. Instead he's out at night, walking barefoot along the surf. The water is cleaner here and so much more beautiful than back home. On top of that he doesn't have to worry about some sea monster trying to eat him for getting too close to the water.
A moonlite stroll on the beach might be relatively normal for a couple during the early evening but this is one lone guy wandering along at 3am. A cigarette hangs from his mouth as he walks.]
