I reckon that depends a whole heap on a bunch've stuff. Definitions of hurt and if we're counting physical and emotional. There's the things we do that we never know the consequences of, just because the person wasn't someone closely tangled up in our lives. If their thread got all frayed and ragged and may snapped 'cause of us, we might never know just because the weren't woven into our tapestry.

The people we care about, if they're also the people we keep in our lives the most? We get more chances to hurt them, and more chances to realise when we've done it, accidental or not.
