That's a pretty bloody understandable reason not to, y'know. Regrettable, yeah but— fear is a people thing. Just means you can try harder not to do that same thing in the future, yeah?

I mean, if you didn't tell him because he ate your take out you were saving that'd be a little harsh, but fear is fair. You can overcome that in the future, even if you can't fix the past.

Don't gotta beat yourself up about that. Our capacity to love, that's a person's great redeeming feature. Pretty sure any good thing that's ever been done has been born out of love. If you care about someone... why would that be a bad thing?
