"I feel almost obsolete," he jokes right back without even a hitch. "No, Jean, I'm impressed and incredibly proud of you. I would be curious to hear about your notions about teaching. Perhaps it is something you should pursue in the future."
He tilts his head curiously. It probably is even therapeutic for her to help others with problems that are at least mildly similar to hers. Encouraging to overcome her own lack of confidence.
