[ Not only does she permit the kiss, but she lingers near him, and then draws his arm around her waist as they walk. She didn't think she'd be as affected, but it's starting to sink in that she's missed everything from his scent (hidden, underneath the singe of course), to his eyes, to how his hands feel interlocked with hers. ]

They told me that this Porter chooses randomly, but I don't believe it.

[ Not when they both show up at the same time like this. She finds them a near-empty cafe with armchair seating in the back, and leads him there. ]

I've missed you.

[ She brushes a lock of hair away from his face, where the last of the burns have settled. Weird, but she's not going to do too much questioning about that when there was so much to question about everything else. ]

What you did for us... Ares is no more. But you were right, too. Men have waged war since, without his influence. I shouldn't have doubted you.

[ Then, she looks more troubled. ]

I didn't want us to part like that.
