Mm. [Chilton inclined his head at Starr's last statement -- well, he wasn't wrong. Chilton had been hooked, intrigued, and he was loathe to think that he would have to release Starr sooner rather than later. It was highly improbably that Starr would make the same mistake twice and end up captive again. Such a pity, a waste of ideal observation and psychiatric data collection. What could have been months, reduced now to days. Hours.

Chilton slowly turned his head to face Starr entirely, watching the bone setting and subsequent medical wrapping.
