SHE'S A CHILD OF THE INTERNET AGE she knows exactly how shitty humanity can be, nothing surprises her, which can come across as a bit cynical at times? But in fact she also at the same time has seen some pretty impressive feats of humanity being AMAZING and she just all around wants to always see the best in people so. It's. Interesting. She can see both sides of the coin and they're both pretty much constantly at war within her. So if she's talking to someone who has an EXTREME viewpoint on the matter on one end of the scale or the other (extreme optimism or cynicism), she'll usually... assume the other side of the argument. Sometimes I don't think even Skye knows where she stands on the issue. Humanity is both wonderful and wonderfully shitty at the same time, basically.

RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: Lightning's a party leader of a JRPG, which means she comes with a bunch of motivational speeches, her own set of issues, and she's generally keen on trying to help and drive things forward. She likes keeping busy and generally trying to do what she can to help, and she dislikes gods and being forced to have a certain kind of involvement.

Her urgent needs right now are more CR, and things that will force her to do more "normal" things. Normal as in "slice of life." She's purposely limiting herself, and she could use that a lot. She's kind of socially awkward. I'm keen on building and perpetuating CR she already has, too.
What are your character's plans?: Figure out if there is divine involvement in what's going on.
Does your character have a secret identity?: No.
Is your character open for pairings?: Yes, but with some work.
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: I am, but Lightning is a hard fight.

She likes helping people and dislikes needing to be helped. She urgently needs a hug, emotional validation, and to be forced to be honest with the people she cares about.
What are your character's plans?: She is planning on high-tailing it out of Heropa with her bff Karkat to avoid what she expects will be a lot of lingering suspicion over that whole "originally confessed to murdering a guy and then pled innocent when someone else was assigned guilt" thing, followed by a great deal of network-stalking and vague-blogging.
Does your character have a secret identity?: No
Is your character open for pairings?: Yes! I'm an awful shipper at heart, it's true, and she has canonical terrible taste in boyfriends, so if you are interested in this emotional trainwreck pls let me know.
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: Um yes she makes poor decisions and is impulsive and overly confident in her ability to protect others.
Is your character interested in teams?: Her only team is Team 5D's.
What kind of plots are you after?: shrugs......... she needs friends, and unrelated to that I am a sucker for reasons for her to use her empathy powers to get her closer to other characters so hit me up for emotional constipation and roundabout conversations about feelings.
Anything else?: Ruka is just now getting released on dropped charges for that whole "shooting that guy twelve times in the face" thing; considering how much of a public spectacle that thing likely was, her stupid mug may have been featured in the news once it twice during that plot. she is genuinely more upset about that than being framed for murder.

Where does your character live?: He's hiding out at the Devil's Nest in Maurtia Falls... or at least, his body is hiding there. His ghost is all around and about.

What is your character's job?: Formerly a systems analyst in Heropa. Currently, a criminal at large

Skills: Computers (an expert hacker, programmer, etc), infiltration (as a ghost), information-dealing, forcing people to do things against their will (but only for a good reason)
Likes: Computers, cats, brief snatches of feeling "alive" (accomplished by possessing others), people who are sympathetic to his plight
Dislikes: Cops, prosecutors, politicians or any other authority figures, self-righteous people, anyone currently trying to catch him.
What are your character's plans?: After his crime spree shenanigans, Yomiel faked his death and fled to Maurtia Falls, where he is now working for Greed. He is recognized as a criminal by the government, though he'll actually be laying off the criminal acts for a while until the coast is clear. Still totally open to having him personally bother someone or work with other criminals as part of a mission for Greed.
Does your character have a secret identity?: "The Manipulator" he didn't make it up okay he would have gone with something WAY COOLER ~~not really~~
Is your character open for pairings?: Good luck with that. Though again... I'd love some kind of twisted unrequited thing.
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: Yomiel literally can't be harmed. As far as harming others goes, I'm totally open to it, but he has to have a good reason to do so.
Is your character interested in teams?: Not unless you work for Greed.
What kind of plots are you after?:

- Shady plots with fellow criminals. Yomiel is working for Greed at the moment, so anyone who has contact with him has an easy way to get into Yomiel's company. I am also up for having him establish some criminal connections on his own, but he is thoroughly uninterested megalomaniacal types or people who are evil for evil's sake.

- Friendship, awww. Yomiel's a dick but he is also desperately lonely and will appreciate anything he sees as people genuinely liking him and being his friend.

- ~~CASTMATES OH GOD~~

Anything else?: It's kind of confusing because Yomiel has been dropping all kinds of hints to different people. Some people know him as Sissel (and know that Sissel is the Manipulator). Others know him as Yomiel (but NOT as the Manipulator.) The fact that the Manipulator's name is Yomiel is not public knowledge at all.

Are you looking for roommates?: I think it's full. And Hope has his favorite person in the entire world as his roommate.
What is your character's job?: Energy Engineer with EMT training on the side.

RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?:
• He's an unconventional marksman-- instead of guns or bows, his weapon of choice is a thrown object, namely boomerangs.
• Knows the Antimatter Manipulation Principle which is very handwave-y and makes stuff that breaks physics as people in his world know it.
• Parkours like it's his job.
• Makes plans that work like Rube Goldberg machines. This is totally a skill.
• Makes a wide range of puppy faces. This is also a legit skill.
• Genius, but has never been properly socialized. If he doesn't know you, he's formal. If he likes you, he pranks you.
• Went through a lot of traumatic crap not unlike the in-game premise when he was 14. He's really good at keeping it a secret though and hardly talks about it.
• Loves science. Biggest, most awkward science geek you may ever meet. Wants to know ALL the science things on Earth because... he knew almost all the science things back home.
• Likes animals, especially chocobos, birds and sheep.
• Hates guns and trains, especially bullet trains.
• He can read and write the English alphabet now. New skill!
What are your character's plans?: He'll be in the paintball game! Registered team of course. After that, he'll go up against Starscream and his bot army and get hurt there because why not. He's also looking into Hornets things and suspects they've done a few criminal activities aside from the obvious. Super secret long term plans are just to wait and see what the government, military and Lachesis have in store for him and everyone else and if he gets a whiff of something he doesn't like, he's going to call his sis (Lightning) and take them down FFXIII-style. Because destroying the status quo and building a new one is their sole purpose in life. Not even kidding.
