If there's a trial, he'll most certainly be called as a witness -- and while his reluctance to interact legally with Gideon may have staggered the ball rolling, at that point he'll likely pursue lawsuit. Given how he can be so avoidant, and given how he's unwilling to cross Danger in this manner, he certainly won't be otherwise public about it!
