Ryūji is a little too old for Beverly to crush on (he’s 16) and also kind of jerky sometimes, and he’s definitely no help in convincing anyone to trust adults because he doesn’t either. What I can offer is that he’d be willing to watch her back in a battle. Which isn’t a plot, just incidental stuff but I’m throwing it out there. He’d also scream if blood fountains were involved, so feel free to do that.
