Right now, Ryo is Akira's strongest anchor in the whirlwind shitstorm that's been the first three weeks at this point. He's kind of leaning on Ryo to adjust, figure out wtf their game plan is and talk about all the weird Devilman changes that come along the longer he stays fused. Without him he'd probably be feeling a lot more lonely and uncertain.
As for Satan, he kind of caught Satan in a moment of vulnerability without knowing his past or who he is really. Akira's natural Goodboy instincts means he wants to make sure this weird angel is feeling ok. Of course, there's always the threat of this whole thing souring if he finds out too much, but for now, he's just curious.
