Archie is the best, and Jonathan wishes he could protect Archie and keep him safe forever and not let Archie get possessed ever again! Jonathan can relate to the whole 'former villain' thing, and he likes having a friend who has a history of making questionable decisions, since Jonathan's struggled with that sort of thing himself. He feels like Archie is a really good person, but he also feels like Archie's past might help him understand why Jonathan thinks some really morally shady things sound reasonable.
He also likes the passion Archie has for his animals, as well as the fact that he was willing to teach him how to cook. Jonathan actually cooks some meals at home now, instead of eating out and heating up frozen food all the time.
Overall, he thinks Archie is wonderful, and if anyone were to kill Archie out of malice (as opposed to doing it because he was possessed by a stone, for example), Jonathan would absolutely drag whoever did it out to the woods, force them to dig their own graves, then shoot them.
Because even though he's not technically a villain anymore, he's all about going all the way with anyone who messes with his friends.
