Lance is really fond of Tina. No matter their interactions, he always has fun talking to her and often finds she's really smart. Others might find her quirks strange, but Lance loves them all the same--seriously, after being shot into space nothing's all that weird anymore.

That being said, Lance also feels a bit protective of Tina. He's used to being part of a big family and he knows that Tina has siblings as well. Because of this, he's pretty much adopted her as family and considers her like a sibling of his own.
