SORT OF? i mean, riptide is basically the oc of the writer that's working on the current series who isn't going over to the new one, so i'm pretty sure that'll mean he's unlikely to show up again

there's so many different series within this stupid franchise it's easy for me to just see it as the end of one and the start of another, which is what it is so i think it's easier to take than if it was the ONLY source of canon, if that makes sense?

i mean i'd also definitely be bummed if riptide showed up in the new one and they completely changed his character
