The native folk know who and what I am, and they'll still come up askin' for autographs and photos and shite, just the way of this world. Anyone that wanted a vampire like me dead also knows that imPorts don't stay dead, not usually, so it's a risky feckin' business for pretty much no gain. They'd risk their own permanent death for what? The chance to off me, only to have me show up again a few days later? Pfft, they ain't that stupid.
