"Yeah. Fruit trees. You--" The words caught in his throat and Poe had to swallow roughly around them. He was really skirting the line here, about what to say and what not to say, but he didn't want to lie.
"I didn't think it was worth it. I said that one or both of us would port out before the trees even started fruiting, but..." His voice got a little quieter. "You wanted them, so I planted them."
There was a quiet pause - no sound save the air whistling past them as they flew, before Finn spoke again, and Poe shot him a confused look.
"What? Why wouldn't it be alright? It's your home too, Finn." A beat, and then a slight hint of colour took his cheeks as he looked back out to the horizon. "Long as you want it, it's yours, memories or not."
