Their fighting styles so far aren't entirely the same, Riku allows himself to note as he keeps dodging backwards without ever taking his eyes off the masked guy – there has to be a wall here somewhere that he can use as a launch point – the other guy is using much more magic than Riku would have until recently.
He can't be a straight up copy of his data then, not like the replica had been. Huh. Later, he can try to figure this out later.
Finally, he comes out of his dark roll to hit the wall with his feet and flings himself right back at Vanitas – much faster than before.]
