Oh she's far from secretive about it, at least on the network. In real life she's a little more mum on it, but if it becomes relevant she's absolutely going to mention it to other imports.

She kinda comes across as a little flippant about it, since her history isn't secret in her world either (even if people there don't believe her on some very important things) so once she saw other teens talking about how they were child soldiers too, sometimes in situations worse than hers, she was just 'psh, I'm not going to keep it secret when giving this information seems to be the norm, especially since being up front about it will help me gain access to needed resources'.
