It's not Shaun's finest moment. Now, granted, that leaves a lot of room and a whole broad range of options because he has had many, many un-finest moments in his time. But this one is the sort that he will be glad isn't on camera. For one thing, he should not be taking corners without some degree of caution, or at least attention.

For another thing, turning said corner fast and seeing a familiar face should not lead to him taking another step and a half before his brain catches up with itself, steps enough that he does indeed collide with the aforementioned familiar face is amateur at best. Collision or not, it does nothing to dim the grin that splits his features.

"Holy shit, Becks! You're here too! Is your complimentary super power being a road block because, great job with that." Even as he's chattering on, he's also ambushing the poor girl in a hug. It's good to see her.

She might notice that this particular Shaun looks somehow lighter than the one she last saw, as if the hollows and broken places in him are shallower, not the depthless caverns that the year and then some he has yet to experience will tear in him. It'll occur to him eventually that she may not be from the same point in time as he is. George isn't, after all. But for the moment, well, he's just happy to see a friend.
