Finn had mentioned the truce, at least. That's not a complete shock, even if she hates being reminded. Finn mentioned the death factor, too, but that hadn't really hit home before. Force, there's so much she needs to learn, so much that just sounds impossible. Totally impossible. Death is death. It's immutable. It's supposed to be immutable.
