A firm grip suddenly catches Jess by the arm, pulling her aside into a nearby alleyway. There isn't much warning — and honestly, the woman that arm is attached to looks halfway like some kind of thug, with her ripped jeans and leather jacket, plus a resting bitch face that seems permanently fixed. It'd be more than fair if Jess reacted to this rescue-abduction by trying to break her nose. The woman seems aware of this, letting go of her once they've ducked away from the crowd and putting her hands up in an appeasing gesture.
