Diego watches his sisters, the easier way of acting that Allison has-- he wonders if it's as easy as she makes it look, or if she's just putting a face on for the sake of their other sister. Maybe both. She had been trying the most of all of them with Vanya, hadn't she? So maybe it's an easy step for her, for that if nothing else.

But there's a wild sort of relief and disbelief that takes over that first second at seeing him again.
