If anything, Shigaraki knew how to glean information from his comrades. He knew how to talk to them and to find out anything he otherwise needed or thought they may have omitted in their rush to explain. Twice had every good intention, good for a villain, but sometimes he could get a little messy to deal with. However, in his eagerness to start concocting a new plan, he neglected, himself, to ask one specific thing.
