But she has no majorly urgent needs, really. She likes studying, martial arts and reading, goofing off with her boys. Normal teenage stuff. As for dislikes there is the whole 'abusive father' thing so I understand if that's a sensitive topic for some if that somehow does come up.
What are your character's plans?: Attempt to get through school because studying and stubborn Brenda. Also, helping out and poking her way to the lawyers and learning more on that front. Figuring out the limits to super strength before she accidentally hurts someone with it. Keeping Jaime and Scarab from doing anything too stupid/dangerous. The usual. Her life.

RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: Shepard is essentially a super space soldier from the future, with enough cybernetics in him to set off a metal detector. That said, since enlisting in the Alliance in 18, Shepard's life has more or less revolved around the military (and more recently, saving the galaxy as we know it etc) -- civilian life is definitely a pretty awkward fit for him, further compounded as he was anticipating a mass invasion by an ancient race bent on destroying all sentient life before he got ported in. He's just as likely to use diplomacy as a loaded gun to end a tense situation, and he's made some pretty amoral decisions in the name of the greater good. What he makes of himself in Heropa will likely depend on the factors that push on him, and that includes people.
What are your character's plans?: Hold off on getting registered, aim to get as much information about the surroundings as possible, likely stir up some trouble along the way. Despite the flippant way he plays it, the whole situation unsettles him a lot, and he's honestly out of his depth living 'civilian' life. Right now, he's involved in trying to figure out a bit more about the hand behind Soviet spies that sabotaged the rocket launch a few months ago, working with other imPorts -- notably Kaidan Alenko, Olivier Armstrong -- to see what they can find out.
Does your character have a secret identity?: No, thankfully.
Is your character open for pairings?: If things develop that way, yes, but Shepard's a pretty mission-first kind of guy.
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: Absolutely. Shepard's very physical and good for throwing down whenever!
Is your character interested in teams?: Yes! As mentioned above, right now he's working with some others to try and find out more about Russia than the government or public knowledge allows.
What kind of plots are you after?: Anything and everything. Getting him adjusted to being a 'civilian,' blowing shit up, getting up to no good. He'll also want to keep his combat skills sharp, so buddies with similar interests or just interested in tussling would probably be welcome.

RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: Rick Bradbury's a pretty simple, earnest guy; what you see is pretty much you get, with him. He couldn't lie his way out of a paper bag, and he does't like complications, so how is it that he keeps ending up with the most complicated people? He's brash and a bit impulsive, a bleeding heart for children and lost causes, and loyal to a fault, as his friendship (of sorts) with Mitchell Hundred demonstrates. He has slight abandonment issues, meaning he's a bit of a doormat and a patsy for the people he cares about, which opens him up to be taken advantage of in all sorts of ways. He needs better friends and someone to encourage him to stop shaping his life around other people's needs -- or just someone to shake his life up, period. Recently he's found out his talking dog roommate is technically afflicted with lycanthropy which is pretty weird.
What are your character's plans?: Keeping his nose clean, trying to make sure the people he cares about aren't getting into trouble.

Character's powers: Psychic shielding (she's only recently learned wtf that is), and Season One Ending Spoilers/Chapter 33 that was like two years ago spoilers Titan Shifting, which includes regeneration in both forms. She can partially shift, all shifts must be activated by some sort of physical trauma (as far as I can tell at this point) involving blood, and when in Titan form she can scream and bring all the Titans who hear her running to devour her whole... and also kind of coat sections of her body in super-hard crystal-diamond-who knows what it is but it's creative and also what she froze herself alive inside.
Is your character registered/will they be?: Registered. Will remain so by choice for the foreseeable future.
Where does your character live?: Nonah, NC, Residence #001.
Are you looking for roommates?: Full house!
What is your character's job?: Government granted, part time work at a fitness center; works part time in Nonah at a development firm for outdoor hiking/backpacking/rappelling equipment. Attends school now that it's starting up again.

RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?:

Skills on a simple basis involve hand to hand combat (a style her father taught her that favors a kind of Muay Thai style), soldier training a la AoT style, infiltrating spywork via total immersion in another culture/society, gun training/marksmanship (continued on base in MoM), a very specific sytyle of swordsmanship (the blades used in the AoT universe are quite odd), use of vertical maneuvering gear, observation skills, perceptiveness, complete failure to people is probably also a skill.

Likes/Dislikes can be summarized as liking boundaries and business relationships, disliking blatant stupidity and/or self-absorption with no self-awareness of the fact of that self-absorption. She's uncomfortable connecting to people outside of clear non-personal structures, since she wasn't able to before, and sorta did anyway, and it all went to hell in a handbasket from there. Having done the reveal on network earlier this month, Annie also believes it's better to keep everything strictly business ~~forever~~ and only be friends with Reiner and Bertholdt ("You know I don't hate you, right?") and somehow manage Minako and Kay saying they're friends in spite of everything on the side. Strongly dislikes Lunatic's blind sense of unilateral justice. Probably dislikes herself too on some level, but she can at least work on that. Actually likes people, but really, really bad about showing that.

Urgent Needs include being called out on her bullshit, since she's better about not evading the truth when it's just. Bluntly put out there. I say friends, too, but man I know that's an uphill battle, and Annie kind of deliberately makes it harder than it should be. She's working on that whole being a better person thing, it's an ongoing work in progress.

What are your character's plans?:

At the moment, continue to learn all she can that seems relevant in this world, continue being tutored by Tony and whoever else is still actually tutoring her, attend and graduate from highschool, train Shinjiro in the mornings because he's actually the first person to ever want to be trained in her Father's techniques and that's flattering in spite of her knowing better, volunteer at the Heropa animal shelter with dog walking/playing/kennel cleaning (thank you for signing the paperwork, KO), work, start doing investigative work between all the rest of everything, fail to get adequate sleep, and figure out what avenues she's best able to apply herself to pursuing in order to give back to this world, since hers is unreachable. Figuring out how to handle herself now that she's not living under the same pressure of "never let it out who or what you are or you'll be executed." It's so nice to just probably eventually be manipulated, used, or executed by that Lunatic guy, or some unannounced crazy. Yay!

She's trying to deal with the fact she doesn't need to or have the same reasons to hide her emotional responses to the world, but it's at war with the fact she represses heavily, she's almost sacred of and shy about interpersonal relationships, and she's allowed herself to explore all the emotional depth of a kiddy wading pool on a personal, not related to world view level. She's awkward, it's obvious, and she's a self-confessed killer who has... I think only told one person the specifics of who she killed, and how. Sort of. (You're welcome, Wally.)

Annie basically doesn't know what she wants or needs but fuck everything she's going to keep living anyway and figure it out one day probably maybe before being sent back to be a giant crystal paperweight.

Not even close, her power is right out there on the network, and she doesn't go by an assumed name for anything.

Is your character open for pairings?:

If you're up for dealing with the denial, conflicted thoughts, and total emotional failure as a human being, yes. Friendships period are going to have a lot of the same roadblocks, especially when Annie is trying (and failing) to deal with personal emotional fallout after the live network confession. Being a teenager is hard, hormones don't work reliably like they should, and she'd like a total refund, thanks!

Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?:

Always. Annie doesn't discuss how regeneration works for Titan shifters, though some know (AoT cast for sure, and Shinjiro has seen evidence, not sure who else right now), and I honestly don't mind at all people learning or making use of Annie specifically for her regenerative abilities. I'm not shy about body horror (I don't think you really can be in playing from this series), so if it's plot relevant on a personal or gamewide level, I'm all good for making full use of Annie's annoying tenacity in surviving and physically regenerating to make things horrible or whatever it is someone would like for plot needs.

That's also an invitation to any and all blood drinkers, body part... stealers... medicine makers, or anything of that nature to talk to me about tapping Annie for those purposes. Her body can handle blood loss and damage way past what makes any actual sense, and she'll be back at normal level not instantly, but sometime soon thereafter depending on her current state of health otherwise.

Is your character interested in teams?:

Canonical lone wolf who cooperates to the extent needed with a team but no further, it is something she sees as needing more work here, so on a plotting level, she is interested in working with teams of people who are trying to effect good change, bring in criminals, protect people from... imPorts and imPort targeted attacks, eetc. She's actually good when working on a team, and cooperates fairly seamlessly, because she can and does stick to a plan, follow through, and also adapt to circumstances as they arise.

Which is to say that she will work with teams for purposes of any plots people may want to pursue where either they'd like Annie involved, or I'm sitting here wagging my tail asking if she can be involved pretty please oh thank you!

He's a decent shot with pistols and assault rifles, but not so much with snipers and shotguns are a little too personal for him. He's also got his biotics, which are great in terms of combat, but also good defensive and just plain useful in non-combat situations. He's thoughtful, and also a little bit of a techie. He's also a spectre so he's up there in terms of abilities -- some of the best of the best and all of that shit. He's not going to be inventing anything, or building anything, but he's pretty good with technology and machines, as well as with getting them hacked or shut down. He likes food -- lots of food, since biotics have pretty high metabolisms. He doesn't really like being rushed, and really prefers to think things through.
What are your character's plans?: I'm really open right now! For the most part, I want to get him settled, and into his stride, first, which means building CR and talking with people! He's also working with Shepard, Oliver, Lightning, and a few other people with regards to the government and how things are shaping up there

RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: Revan has been taking a cautious approach to his predicament. Thus far he's been a model import. He's cunning and analytical, biding his time to act on what he thinks to be the greater good.

The pursuit of knowledge and self perfection has always been a long time affair of his and with no galactic wars to win at the moment he's taken up various hobbies such as tinkering and reading every book in the entire world.

He enjoys people who are open minded and considerate, also if they are open to a free exchange of information that's quite a bonus.
What are your character's plans?: Politically, Revan is keeping an eye on the government and what he sees as an escalating climate of hostility. Something big is coming and he needs to know what.

While he waits he's looking to get involved in the import community. His first plan is to create a fabrication center allowing imports to commission replicas of equipment they need to do their heroing bizzness.
Does your character have a secret identity?: Actually his true identity IS his cover. Revan is a polite, mild mannered, well educated paragon to those that know of him. However in the future I'm planning to use his mask and robes as a disguise to do some shady stuff. Still working that out.
Is your character open for pairings?: Hnnggh. So I'm actually in a conflict over Revan's sexuality and approach to relationships. I would say at the moment he is definitely open for bonding, but anything past that is still up on the drawing board. Will get back to you on it. The only person he ever 'loved' was Force bonded to him and they shared an intimate connection. Outside of that there is no mention of his romantic views.

RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: Nanami is skilled in being a jealous, shrieky bully who's suspicious of other girls, but she's also pretty fast and agile and a decent sword fighter, as well a a decent critical thinker. Sometimes she's even suspicious of the right people. She likes being treated well and doesn't like being dismissed or ignored. She is very emotionally vulnerable but likes to pretend that she isn't unless she's using that vulnerability to get people to feel sorry for her. Her most urgent needs include having a single responsible adult in her life who isn't a manipulative piece of garbage, learning how to look after her own well-being, and figuring out how to accept being mediocre.
What are your character's plans?: Not getting kidnapped again. She can't believe this keeps happening to her. She's very low on long-terms plans, actually, due to being discombobulated from being in the world and also having these powers, which she reads as making her unnatural and weird. If she gets deeply involved in anything, it'd probably be working with any other ImPorts who are registered and doing civil assistance stuff.
Does your character have a secret identity?: Nah.
Is your character open for pairings?: She's a kid, so nothing serious. It's possible she might project affection onto older men, however, and might mistake it for being very in love. If anyone wants a child with a crush following them around, she is the girl for this task.
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: I'm not down for death, torture, or severe mutilation. Psychological and emotional trouble, minor injuries, being in peril, etc., are all cool with me, though! I'd love to talk something out.
Is your character interested in teams?: """Yes,""" an answer I have surrounded in copious scare quotes. I am interested in seeing her on teams, and she would do well to be on one, but she likes feeling like she's on the top of the food chain and would probably throw a baby fit if she thought she didn't have enough control. But long story short, yes she is interested in teams, but she will not make it easy ICly.
What kind of plots are you after?: Aside from the blanket "pretty much everything:" I haven't done enough with her part-time VA job and would like to have meaningful stuff to do with that. Messages to convey, communication to happen! She needs...responsible adults or older teens in her life who don't just want to take advantage of her, so filling a sidekick-slash-secretary role for somebody at some point would be aces. So would being placed in plot situations that force her to make a choice to help or save someone (she needs to). And I am always, always ready to get more animals or non-human folks chasing or otherwise angry at her, or even just being drawn to her in a way that allows them to work together. There are hilarious and dangerous and emotional unexplored depths to a power that makes animals follow you around and want to eat your face, I swear.

And yes, he thinks he looks just fine wearing a sweater vest and socks with sandals, no one can convince him otherwise now.
What are your character's plans?: He's getting his new right arm today thanks to Miranda and Val, plotting as always things that could get him into trouble in the long run as usual, getting back into shape after new arm, going to PTA meetings and other misc projects. He keeps busy but always has time for more plotting or people who appreciate sweater vests. He's also going to be getting a horse so if anyone wants to go riding with him, that would be awesome.

Actually being a teenager in a more modern sense, so failing through social interactions, one day getting her to a movie just so she can react appropriately/inappropriately, learning how to have fun in spite of her blunt statements about totally not needing to learn these things, getting dragged into peer efforts by proximity, stupid teenage antics. She can be adult in many ways, but as far as socializing with peers, Annie really, really sucks at it. I'm sure some of you know this from first-hand threading experience, and I... can't promise that anyone who hasn't won't meet the awkward, stilted, sometimes shy, sometimes standoffish (which... is more being shy, and a protective mechanism) young woman who never did learn how to connect after being isolated in various ways most her shown/known life. She does want to connect, but her sense of humor tends to be subtle, she does come across poorly, and she's blunt - while also being less perceptive of herself by a matter of survivability and choice. Wow. Actually, why does ... anyone want to play with her ...

School wise I don't even know who cares about school, but Annie's at Heropa High as a senior after testing out of the lower level classes, taking all basics and not really concerned with excelling there. If it ends up making more sense to join some kind of club or team as an activity, she'll probably opt for track, with conditioning being easy to keep up with. Soccer will have a passing interest from her, but if she did anything with that it'd be on a community team up in NC, not in Heropa.

I'd like to hear back from anyone else sending kids on to Heropa school to see if any of the standard highschool events might be fun to do - I was thinking with October doing a kind of school haunted house in the gym to raise money for the school (or arts programs or whatnot), probably figuring out any dances/team sporting events, seeing if anyone wants to talk about possible dynamics with imPorts and Earth Natives to suss out how those social politics might be feeling. I thought it could be funny if imPorts were asked to be guest members on the student council, but school stuff is Slice of Life and world-tone building, with the possibility of leading into opportunities for more concrete plots & heroics going forward.

Post-Confession Wise any kind of fall-out follow-up or consequences are excellent by my accounting, she's continuing to figure out what the hell she can be any good at other than... er... observing the hell out of people and making herself one of the top ranked students in the military academy.

Keeping Track of Lunatic rates on her scale of importance, especially since her bid to get him angrier at her first than her titan shifting roommates backfired totally, and then she saved his ass from an alligator. She does feel he needs to be stopped before he starts hurting people simply for the sake of his twisted understanding of justice, but isn't sure wth to do with that if he's not actually done anything more than be an extreme nuisance.

Tracking down the Urban Myth of the Hornets in Nonah, NC is something else I want to help organize players doing, and Annie being involved with. For those who are newer to the game, the Hornets are being blamed for the bombing/collapse of the monorail in Nonah back in the start of May, 2014. They aren't known past their own urban legends, though some blurry footage was found of them right around the time of the bombings.

I've talked with the mods, and been given several leads to follow, most which are false. To find this information, I'm thinking up different scenarios where leads can be tracked down, and hoping others would be interested in also brainstorming paths to follow toward these ends!

On that note, if anyone is interested in helping infiltrate the semi-finals of an amateur ballroom dance competition by joining as competitors, please say so here! I like to indulge in a lot of ridiculous and silly stuff that may-or-may-not also allow for deeper moments of connection, and something like this is specifically set up to give a reason for characters to do ridiculous things that make us laugh while pursuing in game goals. So I guess really I'm looking for some poor fe/male sucker to be Annie's partner in this, plus anyone else who'd think it'd be funny to send their characters temporarily into dance competitions undercover. "Undercover."

Also, if anyone is interested in entering motorcycle and street racing competitions in Nonah, another lead can traced back to those crowds. This can be great for people who want to set up races, who want to participate, who want to gamble, or anything of that nature in addition to tracking down information on the Hornets. Mind, Nonah has gang activity, and this is probably going to relate back to that on some level. Also of note, Nonah is not the criminal den of activity that we have in M. Falls, so things don't really need to get grimdark at all in pursuing these leads.

I also think it'd be funny to have to track down an ice-cream truck driver with his ice-cream truck to follow another lead, but that's because the mental image of walking up to a singing ice-cream truck to buy a popsicle and information makes me laugh.

Power Wise I wouldn't mind exploring her regeneration coming up for horrible or off the wall reasons. But! I'm also more interested in testing and developing her psychic shielding powers, since she does know how to control and work with her Titan shifting powers, but has no idea what any of the psychic stuff could be. Of note, she cannot actually hear telepathy right now because her natural state is to be totally shielded and "blank" as far as giving no mental chatter out - she's literally locked in her own head. She's talked with Charles Xavier about this to an extent, and anyone else who's interested with being involved in her using or discovering accidentally (or accidentally on purpose) how that skillset might be applied. Preventing crashes, shielding herself from rain or something else stupid like that (and shielding someone else by extension), trapping herself or someone else in a psychic manifestation of a crystal shielded container (... the joke behind why I wanted that in the first place becomes slowly apparent), anything of that nature, or sillier, or more serious.

Fighting is actually something Annie does not enjoy. She likes training, she likes to use her Father's techniques, but it's for that bond, and not for the hell of beating other people up (though yes, she does derive pleasure out of throwing people on their ass when deserved, in her opinion). However! She does not mind teaching people in the hand to hand style she knows if they specifically ask, and actually show up to her ridiculous early morning work out time. She's also available to fight in Titan form once there's a facility that can actually support it.

Learning about Orchestral Music is something I'd love to do with Annie, as it seems like she'd be really impressed by/with it, and actually... enjoy... it. She's still largely unfamiliar with music variety in this world, though she's peripherally aware thanks to Inumuta.

There may also be something I'll need someone capable of running a virus scan on a computer and fixing a whole bunch of viruses that invade if Sam's still up for Bertholdt exploring the wonders of internet searching for porn and ladening Annie's poor laptop with all the malware that'll make everything spork beyond belief. But uh. That's entirely for laughs and awkward.

I hope she and Minako can be better friends! Minako came from a canon point where she was dead too, she's been through it before so she could be someone to listen at least about it. And maybe they could team up for some super hero stuff sometime too.

Skills This one is easy enough. Skye's an accomplished hacker, even more so now that she can talk to tech. She's also lately been training a lot with her handgun, so VILLAINS BEWARE o9. Not so much a skill as a her natural personality, but she's also pretty good at empathizing with people and listening to their problems. So. If you need a listening ear...!

Likes/Dislikes Smart people! Funny people. Funny people especially because Skye's default mode of communication is teasing. Also serious people to tease. Also she's a total media/pop culture junkie, so she likes sharing her love of pop culture with others and geeking out over mutual interests. In general she just likes people though so as long as your character isn't a MASSIVE DICK to her they'll probably get on.

Urgent needs Right now? Skye's urgent need is to stay busy. She's the kind of person who likes to have her finger in every pot, and she's still really upset and shaken by the Summer Games. She's looking for ways to spend every waking moment doing stuff, so if your character has something to occupy her with, she'll jump right on it. If your character already DOES already have CR with her, or if they're at the gym a lot themselves, feel free to notice that Skye's been going to the gym A LOT lately. Like almost to the point of over-doing it.

I want Skye to slowly get more and more involved slowly with investigative work! She's happy working for StarkTech at the moment, but Skye is naturally curious and an investigator at heart. She can't just let anything lie. She has to know the answers. I'm not quite sure how to go about this, but that's kind of the direction I'd like to head in slowly. At the moment she's probably just doing some investigating on her own and not getting very far. She could always be a good tech consultant for anyone, or even the local PD...

As an aside, Skye is still working at Stark Tech right now and does have a fairly good relationship with Tony and will defend him if anyone badmouths the guy, so I'm happy for anyone who has a beef with him to have a beef with her, too.

Anything else?: I wrote up a guide the other day for what Skye's day-to-day life in Heropa is like, so if you want to know where your character could ostensibly bump into Skye, or if our characters interact regularly and you want to know more about what that's like, go take a gander!

SKILLS- Physically, he's working on improving his hand-to-hand combat, he can take hits like a motherfucker, he's relatively strong (though not nearly like he was when he had his Persona-) and can use his powers to destroy things, or restore them. He's also a damn good cook, and can be remarkably perceptive (though that usually comes from just how distanced he keeps things a lot of the time.) he tends to think logically (UNLESS IT'S ABOUT HIMSELF) and i dunno, some other stuff.

LIKES/DISLIKES- Shinjiro isn't exactly a 'fun' person most of the time. he has a sense of humor (dry and snarking as it is,) and can function well in small groups he knows-- but he's not about to go crash a party or club hopping or whatever. This can make it hard to get him out to do things (play a sport, w/e) just because he still struggles with the mindset that it's stupid and useless. :T

THAT SAID, he likes hanging out with people in ways he sees as productive in some way. meeting up someplace, talking over lunch/coffee/whatever- He's a good listener, and likes learning more about people and trying to figure them out. People watching is one of his go-to time-killers, though sometimes he's more active with it (like with scheduling training with Annie to try and figure her out a bit more. And not get his ass beat so bad.)

He likes animals, small indulgences, and nosing about on the network. He's remarkably chill with villains as long as they aren't actively villian-ing (though this may be due to his having trouble empathizing with other worlds, etc etc. HARD TO CARE WHEN YOU'RE DEAD. ETC.) So there's that also. And dang lemme end this tangent because it's off topic as shit.

URGENT NEEDS- Shinjiro... doesn't really have any right now? He's pretty easy to keep content, because he tends to view comfortably surviving as good enough. he has a place to live, income to feed himself, something to look after, and a routine schedule. He's... not quite at the point where he's finding himself wanting a whole lot more than that. (It might stem from how back home he died satisfied, no regrets, ready for it to be over. So.... yeah. He's got nothing.)

No, but really, he's getting better at ACTING LIKE A NORMAL PERSON, but to be honest? Shinjiro has trouble making plans for himself in the long term. His goal right now is "don't die and fuck things up for people again" which is less of a goal and more just... You know, what people generally do all the time. But it's a big step for him.
