Pick any of the following scenarios below or feel free to make up your own, but don't be afraid to throw yourself at someone else's thread, either!

01. The city of Heropa is what one might expect from a small, bright and cheery place, where locals are friendly enough and local shop owners might offer a free drink to welcome you to their fair city. Some of the locals might thank you for always lending your service to the nation, while others might not say anything -- but if you have something nasty to say, better not say anything at all, right?

In the wake of the recent blackout, neighborhoods are coming together to repair damage done by miscreants and share resources. In one of the commercial areas, retailers are taking advantage of the mild weather to hold a sidewalk sale. New arrivals and long-settled imPorts alike will receive a small discount at most stores, and while a few locals give them envious looks, many are just interested in what they might buy. You could set a trend, hero!

02. De Chima, Virginia, is a large city with a healthy economy, and though it's quieter than Heropa, there are still large numbers of citizens to be awed at your very presence. Look at you! Organic wonder! Science and technology are the lifeblood of this city, so you're likely to come across a good many locals taking your picture with the newest of devices. The imPort craze remains high here, and you may find yourself cornered by overzealous imPort fans, media wannabes and opportunists alike, shoving cameras in your face.

Their questions are likely to be fairly mundane, however; get ready for an interview about your taste in romantic partners, personal underwear choices, favorite foods, and more!

03. Maurtia Falls, Pennsylvania has had its ups and downs since imPorts started reappearing. Several imPort heroes have put focused efforts into cleaning up the streets of this somewhat infamous city, while others have swooped in to help the criminal industry thrive. More so here than the streets of any other imPort city, the battle between good and evil looks more like a war of escalation than a heroic tale. That might make the less than warm welcome imPorts are given in the city a little more understandable. The emergence of locals with superpowers is hardly helping. While some of these individuals have turned to crime, many locals seem more inclined to defend their native powered drug dealer than help the non-native hero bring them to justice. Who are you to tell them how to live?

There's still snow on the ground in Maurtia Falls, and some locals have decided to hold an impromptu snowman-sculpting contest. But...wait. That one looks familiar! Some of the snow people are definitely meant to be imPorts, but they aren't exactly flattering likenesses.

04. Nonah, North Carolina, is the liveliest of all cities; loud, busy and there's some kind of energy in the air that gets everyone buzzing with excitement. To be American is to be part of a melting pot, and that there’s more money to be made by the thriving local industries hardly hurts.

Go wander and get your shopping in, folks. Any imPort willing to be interviewed about how their New Year Resolution is going is instantly surrounded by a small gaggle of people.

Heropa -- All Over

[Yuri is hard to miss with the way he's gliding about wherever he goes. Like any child who's just been gifted a super power, he's taking advantage of his own to "skate" everywhere. Over roads, gravel, grates; all of it. Why would he ever want to waste time walking again? Especially when he doesn't even need to be wearing skates to do it.

If that's not eye catching enough, then maybe the way he stops every now and then to shout into the distance is.]

Heropa -- Sidewalk Sale

[Later, Yuri opts to spend some time wandering around the sale that's sprung up. He might be found eyeing a studded leather jacket, lingering near a stray cat, or actually vibrating in excitement over a particularly edgy looking t-shirt.]

At least this world knows how to do fashion right.

[ As Yurio rounds some corner in the middle of Heropa, he'll run right smack into one of the people he's shouting for. It's not enough to knock him over, but it's just enough for Viktor to need to catch his balance with his hands on Yuri's shoulders, making the bandage on his arm more visible. ]

Ah! Yurio! When did you get here?

[What the fuck why is Viktor hurt. His eyes narrow, and he scowls at the bandage for a moment before turning the scowl on Viktor himself.]

Today. They told me you and Katsudon were here too. [After he spent way too long yelling at poor government staff about how he needed to go home. They'd probably have told him anything to get him out of their hair.]

[ Viktor practically ignores the pointed glare with a smile. As usual. He also drops his arms from Yuri, his sleeve recovering the bandage. ]

Mm, Yuuri's here too. We arrived together a few weeks ago.

[Oh, perfect, Yurio can forget all about it now. ... Actually, he does for a little longer in light of Viktor's answer.]

What are you talking about? There's no way it's been that long since I saw you!

You just had that pair skate exhibition. [His expression sharpens again, and he points commandingly at Viktor.] And don't start talking about it again! No one wants to hear all your gross lovey dovey bullshit!

[ He ignores the pointed finger too. ]

Only just? That was almost a month ago now! I was already back in St. Petersburg before coming here.

[ And wherever Viktor is, Yuuri is, of course, not too far behind. He stops short as he recognizes the blond kid in front of him.

Yurio inclines his head in greeting. More notable is the way his shoulders and face lose tension they'd been holding once he spots the both of them.]

I guess they weren't lying about you being here.

[ Be nice to your stepdad, Yurio. Jeez. But he doesn't even argue with the nickname, just sighs a little. Underneath it all he's really quite happy to see Yuri. And he saw that relaxation too. ]

As if I could escape Viktor's gravitational pull. We came in together.

I can't believe you guys came here without me. [As if they really had any say in the matter. Or any obligation to bring him along in the first place.] Viktor says you've been here for weeks already!

Four, I think. We'd have brought you along if we could, but this place doesn't give you any choice at all.

[ Cisco's looking at a decidedly less edgy but just as niche t-shirt. He's already bought a bright neon windbreaker and a pair of high tops. He grins at the blond kid's comment. ]

I know, right? Sales like this you can find the best stuff.

[He leans over for a look at the shirt Cisco's got, head tilted curiously. Not really to his tastes (or anything he understands)...but it looks acceptably like something that has some meaning. Not like boring name brand junk.]
