HEIGHT & BUILD. Conflicting reports - either 5'10", 170 lbs or 6', 190 lbs. Either way, he's pretty built. Picture warning: tons of scars. Also, he's lost most of the piercings. Linked for safety?
DEXTERITY. Righty! It's canon.
PHYSICAL DETAILS. Blonde shaggy hair, light blue eyes. His ears are pierced, but it's rare to see him with anything in them anymore. Also, he's got a lot of faded scars - I say "faded" because newer artists never draw them. He keeps them covered for the most part.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. Terrible. His fashion is terrible. Let's see. He does the tank top and basketball shorts look a lot, ripped jeans and flannels, he went through a pretty big hoodie and baseball cap phase. But you know, he thought this was okay:

Now, he does seem to have gotten a bit less of a fashion-don't in his last few non-uniform appearances, here and the selfie image above. I need a few more good clothes day before I stop saying he shouldn't dress himself though. He had a dangling cross earring and a mullet, for Pete's sake. PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. If he's not in uniform? He's a huge sloucher, both hands in pockets is the preferred way to go. He gesticulates a lot when he talks, though.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. At the 10:40 mark, there's a one minute scene in this (warning: Some cell block animation punching and shooting?) in which he says a few words. Pretty normal voice out of uniform, which is how it sounds there. Light New England accent. Traditionally, in the comics, his voice sounds "hollow" when he's using his Speedball powers. Your guess is as good as mine what's that supposed to mean.

SELFIE.
NAME. Kanaya Maryam
HEIGHT & BUILD. 6'0" and about 155 lbs, she's pear-shaped with a very slight bust and wide, round hips, most of her curves situated below the waist. She's somewhere between athletic and skinny, having an active lifestyle and a poor diet.
DEXTERITY. Ambidextrous, but I like to think she favors left.
PHYSICAL DETAILS. Kanaya's a striking figure in either form, as much for her height as her general features. She's a bit hawkish, with a long, sharp nose, ever so slightly hooked, and strong eyebrow game over her large, pale green eyes, with very dark, pronounced bags under them. While human, she has dark brown skin, like copper, which makes her look ethnically Indian. In her natural form, it's grey, though she can project a glow from somewhere within the dermis that makes it look stark white. There are very subtle differences in her face depending in her natural form, as well. Her nose seems slightly sharper and her cheeks are hollow, the cheekbones with a harsher angle. Those bags under her eyes are only deeper, like shadows or bruises, and her irises have a grey rings around their edges. Her ears are pointed, her fangs are large enough to poke out between her naturally black lips, and of course she has her horns, about six inches in length, the left one coming down in a sharp crook at the tip.

Her raven black hair is cut short on the sides and in back but longer on top, if she wore it down it might reach her chin. It's a bit curly naturally, but she straightens it and usually wears it combed back, though sometimes parts it to the left. It comes down in small curls in front of her ears.

There's a large scar on her abdomen and back that looks like a misshapen star, almost like the flesh pulled over itself to cover a hole that went right through her, because that's exactly what happened. It's slightly concave, and centered on where her belly button would be, if she had one. The marks are green in both human and troll form. She has no other scars, as any wounds she's had after have all quickly healed.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. Kanaya does her best to always dress immaculately, one of her style icons is Catherine Deneuve in The Hunger, so she'll always have a weakness for long, black dresses. But she does try to adapt it to local fashion, so she can often be seen in 50s-style cocktail dresses mixed with quasi-goth sensibilities. Most of her skirts are ankle-length, but she actually likes her legs, so she's played around with things that show them off better, high-waisted shorts and pencil skirts being occasionally featured. She likes slash-neck shirts with long sleeves, things that might bare her shoulders, but also likes sleeveless tops from time to time. Never a bare midriff, for obvious reasons. T-shirts and tanks are rare in her wardrobe, but not out of the question, especially if she's doing something physical work. Jeans and trousers are unheard of. Most commonly featured colors are black, jade, red, and white, but she's not limited to them.

Her makeup is usually black or jade, and while she takes great care with it, it can be difficult to work too much with it when she can go from one skintone to another in a literal flash. She can almost always be seen with winged eyeliner, lipstick, and generous concealer to cover up those pesky bags. She's practically naked without. A troll's nails are naturally yellow, but hers are always black or jade.

She often wears two thick bracelets on her right wrist, either light blue, red, jade, or lavender, and with a thin black watch on her left. Any outfit will feature a Virgo symbol somewhere, but it won't always be incredibly prominent. After 02/14/2014, she is always wearing an emerald necklace.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. Kanaya is very prim, stands upright and usually carries herself coolly, confidently, gliding as she walks. But she also tends to move a lot, because there are usually a million and one thinks she needs to do and she will probably be doing them while she's talking to you. She's a multitasker. She is trying very hard.

Exactly how hard she's trying can become more obvious when it falls apart. It's especially obvious when she's really angry, as it's translated into everything. Her shoulders hunch and she slouches forward, her whole face contorts into a very great scowl, and she looks like she might be able to stare something right to death. She actually moves a great deal less. She might even hiss once or twice.

When she's flustered, she tends to pull inward, trying to look as small as she feels. As we've already established, she's a minor giantess, so that doesn't really work. Her face can run the full gamut, desperate for some way to either hide what is currently happening, or stop it from happening entirely. Neither is ever very successful.

In general, she can be rather expressive, and tends to talk with her hands, especially when sassing. She's good at sneers, and in times of quiet contemplation her hand is often glued to her cheek. Her hips have a tendency to cock to either side, especially when she has a hand on one or her arms are folded, which isn't uncommon.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. Kanaya speaks in an inexplicable English accent, because aliens are weird like that, and her pitch usually falls in the alto range. She's very articulate, carefully enunciating every syllable. Usually. In times of heightened stress or anger it might slip a little, or a lot, and might just turn into outright yelling. Or hissing. She often speaks quickly, because she always has a lot to say, and her humor is generally dry, while deadpan at times, she tends to speak in a lilt when being sarcastic. It took practice.

Despite being a vampire, she doesn't register as supernatural to most who are sensitive, as it's really the completely natural progression of her biological maturity. Though she does still read as undead, as her awakening was triggered early by a very fatal catalyst.

VERBAL MANNERISMS. her voice is generally very sharp, and her speech tends to quicken and grow pitchy when she gets carried away with something she knows a lot about, or is nervous about. it begins to sound almost like she's dogpiling the listener. she's a fairly good actress, so her brand of sarcasm tends towards the overzealous hyperbolic sympathy, though she's been known to deadpan in the flattest of flat voices too.

DEXTERITY. I skimmed through some issues and decided she is right handed.
PHYSICAL DETAILS. The point of Jessica is that she looks sort of nondescript, especially because:
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. Wears little to no makeup on a daily basis and clothes that specifically disguise her features— baggy jackets, dark sunglasses. She tends towards dark colors or neutrals, and her look is very 2003. When she was a superhero she had pink hair and dressed in ways that can only be described as jazzercise.

DEXTERITY. I think she's a righty.
PHYSICAL DETAILS. She's tall, imposing and has somewhat of an hourglass figure, but she's also built and it shows. She's meant to be both beautiful and intimidating.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. She doesn't seem to wear a lot of accessories and she can't wear earrings anyway since that would require piercing them. She can be seen wearing necklaces sometimes. Her clothes range from comfortably fashionable to plain comfortable depending on where she is/what she's doing. Seems to wear a lot of cutesy shirts/sweaters with animal prints or other kind on them. Occasionally wears makeup, but not a lot of it. Just some lipstick, eye shadow/liner, and nail polish once in a while.

NAME. Edward Elric
HEIGHT & BUILD. Height: 5'7; by the end of the series, apparently. He's not quite there yet but I'd still figure him to probably be about 5'4; maybe by the Promised Day? As an estimate. His build itself is kind of stocky. He's lithe and muscular if people actually pay attention and when he isn't covering himself/his auto-mail. No idea on his weight but that is probably messed with from muscle and the auto-mail anyway.
DEXTERITY. Traditionally right-handed. Learned to compensate with his left because of the auto-mail. So in that sense he's pretty much both, though more finer motor-skills obviously still go to the left since it is easier for him.
PHYSICAL DETAILS. There's the gold eyes and hair signifying his Xerxes heritage from Hohenheim. Though his auto-mail right arm is more obvious when he isn't covering it up with long sleeves. Previously had his left leg auto-mail as well before No1 helped him with that. He has a particularly major scar at his lower left stomach/hip where he was impaled after falling down at the mines (thanks Kimblee, you douche), but that isn't something he'd exactly go around showing off. As far as his hair goes, it's tied back either in a braid or ponytail. No he probably hasn't had it cut at all since they tried and failed to bring Trisha back.

CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. Ed's sense of style is. Different. Most of the time he's seen in black leather pants, boots, a black and white long sleeved shirt over a blank tank top and his trademark red coat with the flamel symbol at the back. As shown here, which signifies him as having trained under their teacher, Izumi Curtis. Occasionally he'll change to wearing a simple collared white shirt instead but above is generally what he wears by default. He tends to darker colours and more plain pants and collared shirts with jackets/coats basically. Maybe a waistcoat on occasion.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. Ed slouches a bit, though. Which doesn't help with the whole 'short' thing everyone loves pointing out to him. He's a very aggressive type though, able to hold his ground and look menacing when necessary. Usually he's pretty expressive in terms of his body language, his actions speaking volumes or simply reiterating what he says verbally. He gestures with his hands as he talks quite a bit. VERBAL MANNERISMS. This in some ways perhaps varies depending on whether you go with the dub but uh. Ed's voiced by either Romi Park or Vic Mignogna. He's very blunt and to the point, no real accent. He's overall prone to being quite loud and yelling a lot. He splutters and stutters when implications of Winry and being in a relationship with her comes up.

DEXTERITY. Right hand dominant.
PHYSICAL DETAILS. Emma is gorgeous, but it's very...artful if you're being polite, artificial if you're not. When she was younger, probably too young to legally consent to it, she made the conscious decision to remodel herself from a mousy teenager (she ain't a natural blond, folks) to a power-playing ice queen. Her supervillain boyfriend paid for extensive plastic surgery, which she freely admits to--the gold-digging and the various nips and tucks both--and she came out the other side as the White Queen. Her body cost more than most people's houses, and you can tell by looking.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. She wears all white. All the time. It's an affectation she's had since she was introduced, and it only recently changed in canon. (To all black all the time.) If she's not wearing heels, it's probably because you surprised her when she was in the shower. She favors dresses and skirts, usually short or at least slit high, and low necklines. Subtle, she is not. It's only saved from being tacky by the fact her taste is pretty much flawless and also very expensive. Diamond jewelry mostly, and she usually wears her hair down. Her fragrance of choice is apparently Dior, but that was from a Fraction issue so ehhhhh. Her superhero costume is a nod to her supervillain costume, and is only medium-impractical because she turns into invulnerable diamond as her secondary power. Only Reed Richards and possibly Hank McCoy know how it stays up.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. Emma never, ever slouches and usually manages to make it seem like she's looking down her nose even if she's sprawled on the ground. She's graceful in a practiced rather than a natural way, and she doesn't talk with her hands much. She tends to lounge when she's sitting, and she's entirely unafraid to take up space, physically or metaphorically. If she fails to make eye contact, it's because she's slighting you, not because she's nervous. Since she's already tall, her preference for heels makes her loom over everyone but the tallest men, and she's practically eye-level with them. If Emma is using body submissive or nervous body language, something is either very, very wrong, or you're being manipulated.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. I haaaaaate that bullshit "Emma fakes an English accent" canon it makes no sense and it's based on one noncommittal speech bubble from 2001 yes I mad. Uh. Anyway. I decided she has a Boston Brahmin accent, in keeping with her upbringing, which can kinda sound English if you're not familiar with it. Think Charles from M*A*S*H. She doesn't use a lot of slang but also doesn't fall on the weirdo sounds-like-a-robot side of that divide that writers sometimes land in when they try to write someone with formal speech patterns. She peppers her sentences with endearments. "Darling" is basically a meaningless verbal tic--she'd probably call Red Skull that if she talked to him long enough--but "dear" is usually sincere. Her sense of humor is dry and sarcastic, and girlfriend really knows how to wield a conversational stiletto when she wants to.

Psychically, Emma feels exactly how she wants to feel; she's a powerful psychic and can project whatever she cares to. If she's not making a conscious effort one way or another, other psychics tend to describe her using ice or jewel metaphors--diamond, cold, smooth, crystalline, flawless, sharp, etc. When her mental shields are up, attackers or people she's defending perceive them as diamond, and when she's in her psychically invulnerable diamond form, only the most powerful psychics can even detect her at all.

PHYSICAL DETAILS. Ward like all HYDRA agents is tall, well built, and white. He's actually really boring looking although as of 9/11/2014 he has two extremis scars on his left shoulder blade. Basically like someone ripped open his flesh to reveal stone underneath.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. Ward is basically ... a government tool. I mean really apart from being fine if you like that sort of thing he's really really boring. But he's also super awkward with gestures of affection and can be really a blank slate kinda sorta.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. See above. Ward does not people well. I mean bucky's got it a million times worse but most HYDRA guys are lame. Very lame. He uh - has not had a chance to build a cover so he's just all anger at the moment. Which makes him boring unless you like crazy. Do you like crazy?

If you look into Ward's head he is a giant mess of triggers. Seriously everything about him is terrible. Notable triggers include animal death, brainwashing, HYDRA.

Honestly the biggest thing is that Garrett and Ward are both more domestic terrorists then actual Hitler Youth (which makes them fifty times worse)their attitude seems to be "HYDRA is great" as opposed to "Hitler is great" but I know nothing about these sorts of things. Really I don't and I'd probably say a ton of things wrong if I tried to understand it.

HEIGHT & BUILD. 5'10, Lean and broad-shouldered, with legs for days. Also cowboy boots. He's skinnier than he pretends to be, but not precisely scrawny. Kind of hollowed from being a hobo for a few years, but working on getting a bit healthier looking.
DEXTERITY. Right handed!
PHYSICAL DETAILS. IGNORE THE HAT AND COAT IN EVERY PICTURE, Florida is too fucking hot for him to keep that up. But let's start at the top and go down, aiight? His hair is long and scruffy- Kind of a medium to dark brown, and unruly. trims his own bangs, so sometimes they aren't exactly even. lots of times he'll pull his hair back into a low ponytail. Adorable.

ALSO LIKE CONSTANTLY SURLY LOOKING? (Unless you are a dog.) Anyway, he's got darker gray eyes, and the worst posture in the world. Seriously. Boy's got some kinda kyphosis or something, I swear to god.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. I'll say it again: Worst posture in the world. He's always kind of hunched forward, shoulders tensed up, kind of troubled looking as his neutral expression. Despite this, and the bangs over his eyes, he's always pretty damn perceptive of what goes on around him.

Really? Shinjiro carries himself like a fucking punk. Someone withdrawn, but practical enough to know to watch what's going on/his back/whatever. A lot of his expressions are dismissive, regardless of how he actually feels about things- and it's only recently in MoM that he's trying to open up at all. (The impersonal manner of the network helps him show more of his smart-ass sense of humor. If nothing's personal or serious, than nothing matters, amirite?)

Walks with long strides (see above: legs for days), wide stance, and almost always one or both hands crammed into his pockets-- which just makes his posture look even worse. :T He tends to gesticulate uselessly when he talks (A JRPG CLASSIC, REALLY otherwise how would you know who is talking???) And prefers listening in conversation, rather than talking.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. He buzzes with nervous energy, constantly pacing or fidgeting or drumming on things. His posture sucks; he's usually slouching or leaning on things unless he's trying to seem intimidating. He rubs at his neck when he's feeling vulnerable. When he's frustrated, he'll drag his hands down his face or rub at his eyes, often with a drawn-out groan or a dramatic sigh. He's got a bit of an oral fixation, frequently biting on his lip or his fingernails, or licking his lips, or idly rolling his tongue around in his mouth. He smokes a lot. Whenever he's bored, he'll light a cigarette. He also twirls his utensils like drumsticks if he's chatting during a meal.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. His voice is deeper than his boyish features would suggest, gravelly and rough but also a bit nasally. He fluctuates between half-shouting and grumbling with very little in-between. He typically speaks with an adopted AAVE ("Ebonics") vernacular in an accent that is not-quite Dirty South, given his upper-class white upbringing. In fact, there's a sprinkling of Valley Girl cadence with his overuse of "like" and "oh my god". He litters his speech with curse words, famously punctuating phrases with "yo" and "bitch", but not to the extent he did when he was younger. He employs sarcasm a lot and has a tendency to mimic people both out of mockery and sincerity. He likes to adopt manners of speech from other people and to use the words they teach him so that he sounds smarter, even if he doesn't know what they mean.

He is both a warmer person than he lets on and a more violent one. His gangster attitude is primarily a front - he is a sensitive artist at heart - but he's also secretly a murderer and suffers from paranoia and psychosis. For all his sweetness, his psyche is deeply affected by his trauma. In his manipulation of people, he can be both enticing and toxic... not unlike the drugs he manufactures.

NAME. Alex Louis Armstrong
HEIGHT & BUILD. Armstrong stands at a totally not tall 7'3". The mun who plays him as the upper body muscles of a flower so I'm not too sure about his weight especially since it's never given. His build, however, is very fucking huge. His upper body is entirely broad muscle and his shoulders are so broad even quarterbacks can be intimidated by him. Apparently, canonwise, his upper body is so massive his shirts don't properly fit. But, really, he's just a tall, broad guy who is made of 150% muscle and belongs in Stewie's big and tall man shop.
DEXTERITY. He's good with both of his hands but he obviously writes with his right.
PHYSICAL DETAILS. Armstrong probably smells like a mixture of generic heropa old spice, sweat, metal and vanilla. It's a very interesting and kinda manly yet sensitive scent. He has no eyebrows so sometimes his expressions appear ridiculously stern but there's an earnestness that just kind of radiates from his eyes to make up for that. He's completely bald, with the sole exception being the ridiculous strand of hair that's just flopping around on his brow.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. His style depends on the season because he uses his shirt regeneration abilities because he usually destroys them all the time. For the sake of brevity, summer is tacky hawaiian shirts and fall is gross turtlenecks. Winter is tacky christmas sweaters and Spring are brotanks and other thinks that your local douchebag frat would wear. His pants are more functionable than fashionable, and are either military camouflage or just standard. He might be shirtless (he usually is shirtless).

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. He stands very erect so his voice can MAXIMUM CARRY. His hands are always out of his pockets and are always borderline Italian with how they fly all over the damn place. He's very physically expressive and his face is just as expressive. He's really not good at keeping secrets and if he's trying to remain vague on something, his body language will freeze up and he'll look kind of uncomfortable and...flat like he's trying his very hardest not to let the emotions shine through.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. His voice is very loud and dramatic and actorlike and if there's any scenery chewing to be had, you better believe Armstrong will be flossing out bits of the setting through his damn teeth.

DEXTERITY. Hahaha...ha...He can use both hands now, he was forced to learn to write with his left but he still prefers using his right again.
PHYSICAL DETAILS. Very striking light blue eyes and blond hair. He is normally always clean shaved aside from the few days of being in a funk after waking up after losing his arm where he looked all scruffy.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. Erwin's personal style is military, really. He's not used to dressing himself. He's used to wearing military uniform- the brown jacket, white shirt, stylish bolo tie, white pants with brown boots complete with the 3dmg straps or a variation on that with a longer coat after the loss of his right arm.

Otherwise he tends to dress pretty simply, button up tops and slacks. He likes sweater vests and socks with sandals here or suits with ties for work.

VERBAL MANNERISMS. Erwin's well-spoken, clear and very strong. He has a great public speaking voice (even if what he has to say isn't all that great) and can command the attention of a room easily. He has a deliberate way of speaking, he will say what he has to say and that's all, he won't ramble on for the sake of hearing his own voice.

The hair and the derpy expressions in the icons are pretty accurate so I deal. Also sometimes he's lazy and sprouts adolescent facial fuzz above his lip and on his chin, but he can't grow a full beard. #TeenBoyProblems

He's lucky not to have any on his face, but his face is reserved for eyebags anyway, because he doesn't have a good sleeping schedule. Ever wondered why he wears scarves and long sleeves? May seem weak, and he really cant throw a proper punch, but he has decent arm and upper body strength because of all the boomerangs he throws and his legs are probably the most well-defined parts of him. Now if only he had a little more weight to him, he'd look less like an older teenager and more like an adult.

PHYSICAL DETAILS. Long, wavy black hair always pulled back in a ponytail, round green eyes with a glint of mischief and fun, a mouth that is quicker to smile and laugh than to frown and cry. She's not drop-dead gorgeous or perfect, but she's certainly cute enough. And look at those flawless legs. She can jump from windows and run well enough so she's also relatively physically able.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. For someone who seems to want to be a ninja and likes ninjas, she dresses flashily. Her long hair is in a really high ponytail, and not only does she wear a pink and white scrunchie, she also sticks in a golden key hairpin (I headcanon that she made it). Her top is pink with spiral cloud patterns, and over it she wears a dark blue scarf with her handmade Yatagarasu badge. She wears a pink belt that supports a small bag with her stuff. Her skirt and ninja boots are dark grayish-blue and you can see that she wears pink knee-high socks. OH and her skirt may be really short but she actually wears pink shorts under that. FASHION SENSE-WISE I think she's the type to like some cool accessories (preferably ninja-related or thief-related) to adorn her outfit with, and prefers clothes she can freely move around and have fun in.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. Kay isn't the type to slouch and has decent posture. She loves to pump her fist in the air or adjust her gloves or basically use her hands to show how excited and pumped she is, and every so often she grabs her scarf, probably to look all mysterious - but sometimes she just does it when she's sad. Kay is energetic when she's happy or eager, more subdued when she's sad or serious, and quite impulsive, so during intense situations she may have reckless reactions.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. Here's a sample. But in-game she doesn't have any voice clips. I imagine that her voice is upbeat and perky, every inch the adorable teenage girl. I imagine she's very good at remaining cheerful and optimistic and her voice will reflect that, but when she's emotional, her emotion can really show. Here in MoM one of her powers is vocal replication so she can sound like anyone now.

NAME. Lord-Governor Kang

APPEARANCE. Draconian form: Kang is large for his particular type of draconian, with a height of seven feet. Build-wise, he's... definitely stocky and muscular, but not comically so, and I put him at ~370-375 pounds. He is humanoid, with a tail, large wings (18 ft span), fangs, claws, yellow eyes with slit pupils, curling horns much like a ram's, and scales (more like a snake than a crocodilian) that have a dark bronze sheen with a tarnished appearance at the edge. Even though he really doesn't see the point in wearing clothing (it's just something draconians picked up from humans, and pockets are useful!), he does typically wear a cloth kilt and tunic that is specially designed to accommodate his wings, but forgoes shoes, as his legs and feet are digitigrade, instead of plantigrade like a human's. He also wears the gold chain that signifies his status as Lord Governor around his neck along with a boot knife in his belt. There is a colorful braided cloth armband, and an iron armband on his right bicep. His right hand is covered in scars, centered mostly on the palm, and the damage heavily suggests that he almost lost two of his fingers; there is also a large scar on his back (right next to his spine), and on the back of his left thigh.



Human form: Still muscular, but he's down to 6'4" in height, just over 215 pounds in weight, and he retains all of the scars of his true form. He looks korean, with dark hair and dark eyes. The clothes he wears in this form are pretty simple: jeans or khakis, t-shirts, sometimes a monocolor button-up shirt, and practical work boots. He keeps the necklace at home, but wears the armbands at almost all times.



DEXTERITY. He's... mostly right-handed, but has learned how to use his left hand fairly well, especially for things that require a fair amount of grip.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. Oh snap, I could ramble about body language forever.

Draconian faces are not as expressive as human faces, so when he's in that form, his wings and tail are what you should pay the most attention to. If he's in a good mood, the wings will be held high and relaxed and his tail will loosely move. If he's angry, the wings are high and tense, and there will be some tail lashing. Nervousness/unsettled is the same as angry, but replacing tail lashing with scales clicking, and the wings will also move a little restlessly, making a leathery rustling sound. The wings droop if he's sad.

When he's concentrating on something, the very end of his tail will lazily move back and forth. If he's trying to be intimidating, he'll cross his arms over his chest and flare the wings out a bit to look even bigger. If he gets surprised, they'll also flare out; things like jump scares will make him actually jump and sometimes flap the wings, depending on the severity of the "oh shit" reaction.

He also has a tendency to slightly tilt his head to one side, kind of like a bird, when figuring something out/asking questions. And, when he sits in his draconian form, he curls his tail around his feet.

Kang's not big on public displays of affection like hugs, but he's slowly become more used to them after being around so many humans for months. He'll even accept platonic kisses on the cheek from female acquaintances/friends; he just won't reciprocate those. That form of kissing is entirely alien to him. If you get him drunk, though, he's more than happy to initiate hugs, or sling an arm around someone's shoulder/hang on them companionably. Kids are also another story: he doesn't have a problem with them touching him or completely ignoring personal space as kids are wont to do. He likes it when human children aren't afraid of his true form.

Draconian smiles, even happy and benign ones, are full of lots of sharp teeth, which is what makes the rest of his body language very important to observe.

He still has a soldier's bearing, but he's usually pretty easy-going and casual in the way he moves and talks. And naturally, he doesn't move quite like a human, even when in his human form. It's not as obvious anymore, but still definitely noticeable, especially when he does any sort of sparring/fighting as a human (he forgets sometimes that he doesn't have fangs, wings, and a tail anymore).

VERBAL MANNERISMS. Draconian form: Because of his non-human anatomy, he can make a wider range of sounds. He's capable of very deep, even subsonic, sounds in his chest, and can even do ultrasonic sounds in the back of his throat. Nasal sounds are impossible, though, due to the nasal cavity being a different shape.

His normal speaking voice is very deep, probably about an octave lower than Keith David's, and definitely not human. He also tends to use growls and hisses at times (I imagine them to be a lot like crocodilian vocalizations, with the growls starting deep in the chest). Interestingly, he can speak and have a rumbly growl going at the same time.

Kang's accent is... hard to match to any Earth one, really. It's somewhat similar to Romanian, but not quite; it's not as heavy, and the vowel pronunciation is not the same. Because of the shape of his mouth, soft sounds come out more as hisses or growls, and some of them are just flat out impossible for him to make, like soft d and t. It's also impossible to roll the r, like in burro or arroz.

Human form: He still has the accent, but he's able to pronounce the soft sounds much more easily. His voice is much less deep, in the typical human range.

He speaks a fair bit of Dwarven, and fluent Nerakese and Common. Common is largely the same as American English, but a few of the words here and there are completely different and not from any Earth language.

He's got a ridiculously high will save, so any attempts at mind control won't be easy. Psionics isn't really a thing on Krynn, though, so he doesn't think about it at all, or try to block access to thoughts.

PHYSICAL DETAILS. she's blonde and blue eyed ha ha o comics. she should, realistically, have some stretch marks since she pushed a baby out once. NOT THAT PEOPLE WOULD REALLY BE SEEING THAT but.

NAME. Crematia.
HEIGHT & BUILD. I'm just gonna divide it between dragon and human self.

Human: 5' 10"! Tall and a little curvy. Her weight might be 130? 120? Please note I pulled those numbers out of my ass.

Dragon: Red dragons in Dragonlance are more-or-less the kind of dragons in the Dungeons and Dragons tabletop games, I'm gonna dig through the guide book on those and refer their sizes.

Red dragons her size are 15 ft in body width and have the standing height of 22 ft, with a minimum wingspan of 60 ft to a maximum wingspan of 150 ft, and her overall length (neck and tail combined) is 120 ft. Oh, and she weighs on average of 1,280,000 lbs.

DEXTERITY. It's never stated! I think of her as a lefty though, if she wanted to write something down.
PHYSICAL DETAILS.

Human: According to the book, Crematia turned into a tall human woman with a body "a shape with slender curves and flowing red hair clad in a gown of shimmering green." She has also been described with a coying, almost playful voice.


Dragon: One really cool feature Crematia has as a red dragon are the triangular ridges that overlap with other scales, which allows moisture to find a way to escape as to avoid mold growth between the skin and the superheated scales. The moisture is let out in a small puffs of steam, which can be used for intimidation purposes. Of course, she can intimidate perfectly well with her fire, but more on that later.

Crematia's claws and horns are completely black, but they weren't always that way - they used to be ivory-colored that darkened over time due to using her fire and creating ash and smog. She has a line of spines going down her back, evenly spaced out that so if, miraculously, someone convinces her to be her rider, it is possible to make a saddle safely between the spines. Her eyes are a glowing yellow, like molten metal. Crematia also bore scars from serious fights - from not only her enemies, but also from her other red dragon nestmates, whom she all killed off.


CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES.

Human: Despite her general bloodthirstiness, she doesn't like to appear dirty in her human form. She knows appearance is everything, which is why she wears high-dollar clothes as much as she can, where ever she goes. If she goes out at night, her clothes tend to be range from evening gown to club style.



But when she goes professional, she goes all the way.



Although she sticks out like a terrible sour thumb among her gangsters, she doesn't care. As long as she's feared and people obey her command and whim, she's satisfied.

Dragon: she wished something can fit her magnificent form!!!!

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS.

Human: Much like in her dragon form, she is rarely still, and she tilts her head this way and that, sometimes even walks around the person she's talking to. Crematia, while perfectly capable of being unreadable and unpredictable, prefers to have her enemies, allies, and everyone else to see her in action, even when she's not doing anything of importance. She is extremely egotistical and easy to read.

Dragon: Have you ever seen the second Hobbit film, The Desolation of Smaug? Remember how Smaug always shows his teeth and basically uses his size to intimidate, bully and even to kill those much smaller than him?




Crematia's mannerisms are very similar in that regard. While as a human she merely tries to appear mocking and seductive at the same time, in her real form she becomes far more savage and cruel. As she does in her human form, she is very active, swinging her neck back and forth or take a step forward or back. When she laughs, she bares her teeth while doing so.

VERBAL MANNERISMS.

Human: She sounds like Liv Tyler, honestly. And if your character ever wonders if she sounds like she's mocking them, then yeah, she's totally mocking your character. Sorry.

Dragon: Being a 22 foot tall dragon that weighs a little over 1,000,000 pounds, Crematia's voice is deeper but also speaks in a raspy undertone from all the times she speaks while emitting smoke from her nostrils. It is not uncommon to hear rumbles inside her chest, which depending on pitch can used to display emotions like discontentment, anger, or even a purring happiness.

Telepaths can read her mind but it's not recommended. Basically all she thinks about is torturing, eating, gathering treasure, and torture some more. And warfare, but she has given up on ever going into battle in this lousy world.

HEIGHT & BUILD. 5ft 6.5in (169 cm) and I would put his weight around 145lbs (65 kg) or possibly more than that, since he has a tendency to pile on the pounds when he hasn't got anything to do.
DEXTERITY. John is predominately left-handed, but he was trained to shoot with his right hand while he was in the military. He may have been forced to write right-handed at school when he was a child as well, since that was a thing that happened back then.

PHYSICAL DETAILS.
- John has dark blue eyes.
- He has sandy coloured hair streaked with grey. A lot of grey. He has started wearing it parted on the right side and you won't see him with ruffled hair unless he is trying to fool you into thinking he is someone else. He doesn't use any hair products apart from shampoo and doesn't vary with his deodorants/aftershave either.
- He has round face, age lines, wrinkles, and bags under his eyes.
- He has a scar on his left shoulder from where he got shot, but good luck ever seeing that.

CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES.
- For coats, he mainly sticks to two: his trademark black haversack shooting jacket that he has owned since his army days and A.P.C. Structured Mac in Navy that is his official "doctor coat". Mostly. Since he is Florida, he doesn't wear them that often.
- He wears a lot of thin cardigans, jumpers, check shirts and jeans. Footwear, he wears either loakes (ashby brogue) or brown trainers. His wardrobe doesn't vary that much.
- He owns a Tag Heuer Monaco Chronograph Automatic CS2111 watch and carries a unregistered Sig Sauer that he kept after his medical discharge and keeps hidden in the small of his back when it isn't hidden at home.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS.
- John carries himself like a military man, so he has very good posture. He often stands with his hands by his side, crossed over his chest or linked behind his back. He isn't the center of attention if he can help it; he will be standing one step behind or waiting on the side-lines and listening quietly.
- He is incredibly expressive with his facial expressions. When he is put into emotional situations where he has to talk about his feelings, he will mostly avoid eye contact and telegraphs how uncomfortable he is talking about them. He will trail off, clear his throat, leaving a sentence hanging and changing the subject entirely.
- He has a certain walk. It's almost like a swagger: very big strides with his arms going back and forth. One character it was chafing from riding his bicycle until Sherlock pointed out that he has always walked like this.
- He licks his lips. A lot. He will either purse them when he is miffed at someone or squeeze them with his fingers while he is thinking or listening to someone.
- He has the habit of wiggling his dominant hand when he is upset or in a stressful situation. He turns his body to face the threat head on and his body language is almost always aggressive. While he doesn't like talking about his feelings and will look away, he will almost always retain eye contact with what is pissing him off.

VERBAL MANNERISMS.
- John has an estuary accent, which is typical for working and middle-class families in London. This is an example of his speech after Sherlock's funeral, where he had to wait until he was alone to say what he was feeling.

- He usually tries to stop himself from swearing, unless he is really angry with someone and then will curse them out. He rarely says fuck but will sometimes say shit and call people dicks if they really deserve it.

NAME. Jaime Reyes
HEIGHT & BUILD. Jaime's approximately 5'6", if that - he's often dwarfed by other supers who are, naturally, huge; his height is often commented on, and not in a flattering light. He's lean, and though there's some evidence that he works out, he's still naturally on the scrawny side, the kind of skinny that only teenage boys with fantastic metabolisms seem to have.
DEXTERITY. Right handed.
PHYSICAL DETAILS. Mexican; black, shaggy hair that he has a habit of letting grow a bit too long, just curling around the nape of his neck; dark brown eyes; thick brows. He's usually sporting some chin fuzz (he can't grow enough facial hair to pull off his goatee yet! Oh, the humanity!). He avoids going shirtless, but when he does, you can see the faint outline of the Scarab between his shoulderblades, something that's easily passed off as a tattoo.

CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. Jaime is such a plain dresser, the type of guy who dresses particularly so that he can pick up anything off his bedroom's floor and have it more or less work. He lives in jeans, sneakers, and T-shirts. Occasionally he'll throw on a button-up that he'll almost always leave unbuttoned. He errs to cool colours, but he's not fussy - his shirts come in grey, black, blue (and lots of it), and occasionally, green and purple (but not at the same time!). His clothes also tend to be too big for him, which doesn't do wonders for making him look any bigger.

And since he spends half his time as the Blue Beetle - in uniform, the Scarab exits his spine to create what's essentially a backpack, legs winding around Jaime's waist. His suit is alternately bright blue and black and ridged at his joints. The patterns on his mask are (quite intentionally on the part of the artists) reminiscent of a luchador mask. His eyes are covered in yellow lenses with red pupils, and they glow. His fingertips are flat, white, and also glow! Reference.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. Jaime is extremely expressive if he's not intentionally trying to shut down, which will only happen if he's really unhappy. He talks with his hands, has a bad habit of flailing everywhere, and his emotions show extremely clearly on his face. When he's relaxed, he tends to be very slouchy. Most of the time, he's got extremely relaxed body language, movements loose and languid. He doesn't do a lot of posturing - if anything, he makes himself look smaller than he is, but not on purpose.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. HEADCANON AHOY. He technically has two voice actors, but neither of them fit the way I hear his voice. He usually speaks a little on the slower side, as relaxed as his body language, and his voice is a little low, a little throaty. You'll know he's worked up when he starts speeding up and when his voice jumps up an octave, which absolutely happens. He favours sarcasm in a very, very deadpan way, subtle enough that you may very well miss it if you're not used to him. When he's the Blue Beetle, his tone sharpens and brightens, and loses the relaxed quality altogether - he's a lot more alert, and it shows through his diction and tone, though he's not altogether aware of this.

SHIT I FORGOT ABOUT THE PSYCHIC SHIT. Jaime has a lot of responsibilities on his mind, but it reads otherwise like an emotionally healthy teenager! There's lots of warm fuzzy thoughts in there about his friends and family and pride and ~responsibility~ because he's an upstanding, cheery sort of guy, though some things are clearly weighing on him. (It's also a little cluttered in there - he does a lot more research than he lets on.)

...but there's also the robotic voice of an ancient, ancient AI lurking around there with some mild homicidal tendencies. 8) Ask for more info on that.

He's also been drawn by several artists throughout his run! This is 100% gratuitous but w/e I like comparing artists.
Cully Hamner basically draws him like a walking puppydog, all big, round eyes and soft features and floppy hair.
Duncan Rouleau has a much more sharper, stylized style.
Freddie Williams II has a much broader cartoony style... and a weirdly buff Jaime.
Mike Norton probably draws the most realistic art in the series.
...and Rafael Albuquerque draws my personal favourite rendition of Jaime, which is both the doofiest and the pissiest.

HEIGHT & BUILD. 5'2", 115 lbs probably, she has a really thin build, delicate.
DEXTERITY. she is right handed.
PHYSICAL DETAILS. abigail has really pretty blue eyes (and freckles!), and long dark brown hair. she also has a long scar on the left side of her neck and she's sort of... missing her left ear. her ear is not usually obvious at first because she covers it up with her hair, but it's more obvious than the scar (example). she covers the scar with her scarves, so it's incredibly rare people catch sight of it. unless otherwise specified, she wears her long hair straight and down.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. abigail favors jeans/corduroys and sweaters, boots or flats, jewel tones because she let alana shop for her and then hannibal took over. they're very functional and sturdy. atm (because it's summer), she's rocking simple tee shirts under cardigans over jeans or modest jean shorts. she alway always always has a scarf on, favoring a specific dark blue one, but she is supplementing her scarf collection the longer she stays so sometimes they're a different color. mostly the dark blue one. she basically dresses like a college student from minnesota because that's... what she would have been if her life wasn't awful. :) she doesn't usually wear make up and if she does it's lip balm and maybe mascara. like whoa now. whoa. that is mostly saved for swearing in ceremonies so it's not usually a thing.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. abigail is no physically expressive for the most part. she keeps things close to her chest, or tries to, and that shows in her expression or lack thereof. she has a nervous habit of winding her fingers together in front of her. for the most part she stands up straight, but curls in on herself which makes her look smaller than she actually is. though, you know, she's tiny. she doesn't smile often and her lips naturally curve down so a lot of the time she looks sad even if she's not, it's just how her face is made.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. she has a plain american accent, not incredibly midwestern, just run of the mill american. her voice is soft and quiet for the most part. she speaks slowly and carefully. actually, this is what she sounds like. (spoilers for season one hannibal finale.)

PHYSICAL DETAILS. Well she's a martian. Green skin, super morph-able, can have an obnoxious amount of arms or tentacles or giant claws. Except she's pretty tame and shy about it, so don't actually expect to see them. Her comic self is much more open. Shocking red hair, bright red-gold eyes, and FRECKLES. Dark green freckles. Seriously, she's adorable.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. Think 90's popular schoolgirl. Seriously, she gets all her ideas and appearance from a 90's sitcom. Although with her clothes being bio-receptive, she can turn them into whatever she feels like, be it her normal clothing, stealth mode (fancy black coloration), or a pink school uniform.
