Time to bring back one of my old faves...

the QUESTION meme

Simple and easy! Here's how it goes:

1. POST a top-level with your character name

2. REPLY to other people's top-level with a question for that character

3. ANSWER the question you were asked

4. ASK a question of that person's characters in return!

We go back and forth like this asking questions in a thread until one or both of us runs out of questions!

QUESTIONS CAN BE ANYTHING. Serious or silly as you want! What does Jane think of (x)? What does Sarah have for breakfast? How many times a day does Alex masturbate? What's Tom's dream job? The only limit for questions is your imagination.

Replies can be as monosyllabic or as tl;dr are you want; it's up to you. Go wild kids!

The major thing that INITIALLY drew Skye to Jesse was just how chill/laid back he was. (Obvs Jesse can get pretty high strung when shit's going down but in day to day life he's fairly easy going??) Like the whole pace of just how he approaches everything was such a refreshing change from life with SHIELD, and more importantly: so absolutely opposite to Ward. I think it's important to remember that when she and Jesse first got together it was ABSOLUTELY a rebound thing. Jesse was there, he was flirting with her, making his interest in her known. But more importantly, he was the total opposite to Ward. Laid back, straight forward, uncomplicated. A normal guy.

It was an attractive prospect! She wanted some human comfort and positive attention and Jesse was more than happy to give her that-- and also not take it as more than it was, or freak out if she decided to dump him. No strings attached. Easy, fun, no problems.

But then she foolishly asked him out on a date after and found there was heaps more to like about him and it was all downhill from there. He's like a puppy-- always eager to please. He's cute, always considerate (as far as she knows anyway), and perhaps most importantly he makes her feel valued. It's pretty important to remember that in the grand scheme of Skye's life, although we don't get to see much of her backstory on the screen, it's pretty heavily implied that she hasn't had many positive or close relationships with people in her life prior to joining SHIELD. Jesse treats her like she means the world to him-- but not in an obnoxious fanboy putting her on a pedestal way. And I think that's key. She's spent her whole life drifting from family to family and school to school. She loves being needed. Which lol sounds terrible but there you go.

AS FOR DISLIKE

She dislikes his paranoia, mostly. And slightly related, but she wishes she could fix his self-worth. It's not really something she "dislikes" about him so much as something that makes her heart ache every time he talks about himself like he's nothing or just casually throws his money at other people like it's nothing because he doesn't care about himself. It breaks her heart :C.
