aww yeah it's question meme time

Time to bring back one of my old faves...

the QUESTION meme

Simple and easy! Here's how it goes:

1. POST a top-level with your character name

2. REPLY to other people's top-level with a question for that character

3. ANSWER the question you were asked

4. ASK a question of that person's characters in return!

We go back and forth like this asking questions in a thread until one or both of us runs out of questions!

QUESTIONS CAN BE ANYTHING. Serious or silly as you want! What does Jane think of (x)? What does Sarah have for breakfast? How many times a day does Alex masturbate? What's Tom's dream job? The only limit for questions is your imagination.

Replies can be as monosyllabic or as tl;dr are you want; it's up to you. Go wild kids!

Jaime hasn't actually thought much about the functionality of where he would like to work one day! He enjoys his work at the dentist's office, but his dream of becoming a dentist has a lot to do with the salary - he wants to help his parents with financial security and send his little sister to college. He knows he's not bright enough or ambitious enough to go into business or try being a lawyer or a doctor, and when it comes to helping the world, being a nurse like his mother would be way, way too stressful - he's got enough on his plate as a superhero! Dentistry is a happy medium.

And realistically, he'll probably end up as a family dentist, but he does like kids a lot! He will absolutely have that little trunk of tiny toys for the kids that come in, and he'll end up having to by extras of everything because he'll keep on giving more than one away because he's a big old sucker. I also like to think that he'll end up working for the Justice League as well and takes a look at all the superheroes' punched in teeth because the mental image of Dr. Reyes lecturing Batman about proper flossing techniques is too good to resist.

AND BACK TO ELSA: How did the adjustment to suddenly not being royalty go for her? Were there any particular speedbumps in having to cope with that? Is there anything specific she really loves about it, beyond... being able to leave her bedroom?

Oh no lecturing Batman about flossing...

Elsa actually doesn't consider herself queen anymore, so it's a relief that no one really knows here and she doesn't have to do the "I don't really want to be queen" song and dance. If she didn't have all her problems with her powers she'd be happy being queen but right now she can only see it as a mistake to put her on the throne. So she's pretty happy with where she is.

That said, it's still been an adjustment. Even with their reduced staff, Elsa was still used to being waited on and had a lot done for her. She was a little spoiled! There's a lot of things she has to do now that she never really thought about doing, like washing clothes (thank God for washing machines). But she didn't really interact with her subjects enough to get used to being addressed as queen or anything so she's not missing much there.

She loves not being queen right now. Less responsibility, less pressure. At this juncture she's pretty sure she would be happy working in the antique store the rest of her life. She probably won't feel that way forever, though.

FOR JAIME, what's his favorite thing to do on a vacation or time off with his friends and family?

Aww, Elsa. I think laundry and regular work hours are a pretty good trade off for being locked up in her room!

HMM I don't think he really has any one favourite activity tbh! The activity is 'spending time with friends and family' without being constantly interrupted by giant robots or natural disasters or evil magicians making loud speeches downtown hahah. These days, he's perfectly happy just hanging around and shooting the shit, maybe with some video games on in the background or a soccer game on the TV. He's a simple dude.

Speaking of TV... how is Elsa liking all these new methods of entertainment that she's doubtlessly seen? Has she ignored their existence entirely, or has she found a fondness for idk SAY YES TO THE DRESS

She doesn't ignore them but she's confused by some of them. She likes some sitcoms, especially family ones, and she's developed a fondness for quiz shows, if anything because she likes learning random facts about the world quickly (and she gets excited when she actually knows one). She's watched some movies but she'd prefer to go see plays because plays were a thing she knew about and wanted to go see but couldn't because of that whole "locked in her room" thing. She hasn't touched video games yet. Maybe some day.

What is Jaime's favorite color?
