Time to bring back one of my old faves...

the QUESTION meme

Simple and easy! Here's how it goes:

1. POST a top-level with your character name

2. REPLY to other people's top-level with a question for that character

3. ANSWER the question you were asked

4. ASK a question of that person's characters in return!

We go back and forth like this asking questions in a thread until one or both of us runs out of questions!

QUESTIONS CAN BE ANYTHING. Serious or silly as you want! What does Jane think of (x)? What does Sarah have for breakfast? How many times a day does Alex masturbate? What's Tom's dream job? The only limit for questions is your imagination.

Replies can be as monosyllabic or as tl;dr are you want; it's up to you. Go wild kids!

getting out of dodge would be incredibly tempting, if no one he knew from home were around, he might seriously consider it. he might still even mention it as a legitimate option. but being around other heroes has a tendency to inspire him to do better, to act like the hero he never wanted to be. plus, he has more experience in this than a lot of other imports.

so, he'll be reluctant, but ultimately come around and do the job in helping as he can.


what are rei's feelings on swimming with others, especially swimming with new people that he hasn't really gotten attached to? god now it just sounds like a sexual metaphor

Welcome to talking about Free Rei isn't necessarily opposed to swimming with others, but he wouldn't join a team with anyone while here (especially at this canon point) for a few reasons. One, a team is a commitment and he doesn't know how long he'll be here. Two, it would feel in a weird way to him like cheating on his team, WHICH SOUNDS DUMB but with the way the Free boys think about the relay, it feels too much like an unbreakable bond between them. So he could just join a team and not swim relays, except three, they'd want him to swim all the strokes, and while he does know how now he's still only confident with the butterfly, and while the people who knew him before know he's made massive improvement, new people don't know that. It would be humiliating and not beautiful at all.

BUT all that said, if he starts getting attached to people here who want to swim with him, he would. He's naturally competitive, so having people to race against and with gives him a lot more motivation to work harder and go faster than just swimming alone. And blah blah sights people have never seen the magic of swimming yadda yadda

loki blackmailed him into a date once, it's a very unfortunate, very lusty and very unrequited situation he's been trying to tiptoe around for a long time. the guy's pretty but he's just not david's type. there was a librarian he was kinda attracted to, but he turned out straight. and now jonathan joestar is way more charming than he has any right.

but no, he hasn't really been in a steady relationship since he and nori broke it off two years ago.

what are rei's thoughts on ~romance~? is swimming a must?
