Time to bring back one of my old faves...

the QUESTION meme

Simple and easy! Here's how it goes:

1. POST a top-level with your character name

2. REPLY to other people's top-level with a question for that character

3. ANSWER the question you were asked

4. ASK a question of that person's characters in return!

We go back and forth like this asking questions in a thread until one or both of us runs out of questions!

QUESTIONS CAN BE ANYTHING. Serious or silly as you want! What does Jane think of (x)? What does Sarah have for breakfast? How many times a day does Alex masturbate? What's Tom's dream job? The only limit for questions is your imagination.

Replies can be as monosyllabic or as tl;dr are you want; it's up to you. Go wild kids!

I don't think he would really decorate it! Like you said, he's from ADVENTURE SHONEN and will probably keep up the mentality that comes with that, bouncing around every place he can while he can. Eventually, he might warm up to it being a place to return to, but for now-and the foreseeable future-I think he'd rather use it as storage. Gradually that will probably turn into decoration as I can imagine he'd take small little knickknacks from his adventures, so there will probably be a lot of seashells, leaves and rocks set up pretty carefully. He's a surprisingly neat kid so anything that does wind up there (probably more natural, organic things) will be very deliberately placed.

MY TURN NOW! When Jaime thinks 5, 10, or 15 years from now, does he imagine himself back at home or further settled in the game's world? What does he see? And if that's already been asked tell me what facial hair trends he approves of and which he thinks are kind of gross.

He definitely imagines himself back at home! He's determined to go back home and retain his memories in the process because fuck you jamjars he's Jaime Reyes. Ideally, in around ten years, he'd like to see himself as a dentist, making enough money to put his little sister through college, and maybe married, maybe just engaged, but he would like to be in a serious relationship by that time. Oh, and he'd still be doing the Blue Beetle thing. Jaime's a dude with humble goals! Realistically, he knows that the lifespan for Beetles once they don the costume isn't great, but he tries not to think about that too much!

AND WHY NOT I'll answer the facial hair question bc it's totally important. Soul patches and chinstraps are gross, and it takes someone very special to rock the 'stache. Goatees and beards are where it's at as far as Jaime's concerned (and he will, in fact, end up growing one just like his dad).

Boomeranged right back at you! Will Gon register? Has he even considered it since he was first told that he had to do one or the other?

How does he feel about the skeevy Brad Pitt beard trend though? You left that out.

Gon will register! He hasn't really put much thought into it and doesn't really care to but registering sounds the most like being a Hunter back home. He doesn't really mind the government watching him or whatever, and the current argument about imPort voting rights and whatnot sounds mostly like white noise to him. It'll probably stay like that until it winds up hurting someone he knows. Then he'll worry about it on the most basic level.

Question #2! 3? What shows/music/movies/etc. give Jaime the biggest nostalgia trip? Are there any childhood favorites that he thinks stand the test of time/growing up?

HE'S A GOOD KID... a good kid without a great deal of ambition. And oh my lord I did not know about the Brad Pitt beard trend - thank you for enlightening me. It's so beautiful.

ANYWAY that sounds great for Gon! At least he'll have the cashflow to keep a bountiful amount of food on the table. :')

Think old nerd movies and classic kid movies for Jaime's nostalgia trips! He's a big fan of Star Trek and Star Wars, and he watched the hell out of Jurassic Park, ET, Home Alone, Back To The Future, Men In Black, etc. etc. It is slightly ironic that he was such a big fan of space and sci-fi when he actually hates being in space and fights aliens. :') He and his bff also watched basically anything Antonio Banderas was in.

...and if he ever said that he didn't have all the lyrics to that Space Jam theme song memorized HE WOULD BE LYING. He also thinks that all of the above have stood the test of time, save for Space Jam.

Do you anticipate Gon being able to stay in the city for a while, or do you think he'll end up traipsing off own his own back to nature and setting off another amber alert?
