Time to bring back one of my old faves...

the QUESTION meme

Simple and easy! Here's how it goes:

1. POST a top-level with your character name

2. REPLY to other people's top-level with a question for that character

3. ANSWER the question you were asked

4. ASK a question of that person's characters in return!

We go back and forth like this asking questions in a thread until one or both of us runs out of questions!

QUESTIONS CAN BE ANYTHING. Serious or silly as you want! What does Jane think of (x)? What does Sarah have for breakfast? How many times a day does Alex masturbate? What's Tom's dream job? The only limit for questions is your imagination.

Replies can be as monosyllabic or as tl;dr are you want; it's up to you. Go wild kids!

If Ed could have one person brought back here, who would he choose? And why?

You really expect any answer besides Alphonse? Because Al is his family and all he thought he had left until the reunion with Hohenheim. They've been through everything together and Heropa isn't an exception, given they both initially arrived at the same time. Al is everything to Ed. The reason he does all of this.

Otherwise, if not Al, probably Ling? He's a friend and an asset, even if he is a mooching jerk at times. And he isn't as terrifying as Teacher, doesn't make him rage or frustrated like Hohenheim does. He already has Winry here to help with his auto-mail needs.

What about Greed? How would he feel if Ling showed up again after all that went down and lying to him like that?

Didn't think so, but I figured I'd ask. Heropa is hitting a little close to home, yeah?

Ha, oh shit. He would shrug it off, really. Pretend it was nothing and or probably avoid Ling for the first couple of days he showed up. He knows he's in for a talking to, should the little pissant prince end up in Heropa. And he doesn't expect it to end on a good note, but he's not really interested in dragging it out. It would probably be a mix of seriousness and carefree. Ling is probably one of the few people he's really keeping his eyes out for.

Would Ed really try to work for the military here? Or does it all sound too close for comfort?

Very close to home, yes.

Aw, Greed. What is this concept of friends and that stupid idiot prince that grows on you regardless of first impressions even. It is something Ed would clue Greed on though, if Ling were to show up. For obvious reasons. If Ling doesn't find the Nest himself and come climbing through the window anyway of course.

Ed is trying. He's Registered, mostly because this doesn't seem that different from what he had to deal with back home anyway and partly because of the benefits and better access to inside info. He'll fight if he has to, and vocally disagrees with certain things, but he refuses to kill if things get to that point between the US and Russia especially. This isn't Amestris, but it's still dangerous and Ed is cautious as a result, even if he Registered.

Though, that's pretty interesting and probably something Greed would dismiss, though he'd be appreciative. He's not one to linger on the topic too long and he knows damn well that's exactly the opposite that will happen in this circumstance. Thanks for watching his back, brat.

Basically. He tries to help at least. And he'd totally fight alongside Greed if things came to that.

Exactly! Besides, he's more useful information wise to Greed this way since I imagine majority of the Nest is not Registered so. It works out.

Who would Greed want from home, and why?

Greed would want his old crew back. Martel, Dolcetto, Roa, Bido - any of them would be fine. All of them would be better. He does miss them, even if he isn't upfront about it. It's come up briefly in some conversations and he thinks they'd have a better chance here. A second life and he'd protect them no matter what. That being said, Ling is up there with them. If not for the sheer fact that Greed does consider him one of his own.

What's Ed's favorite music genre in this world? Favorite song?

Makes sense. He'd also kind of feel like they would get a second chance and he'd be able to make up for what went down back home. Especially the traumatic way Greed's memories were regained underground Central and all.

I'd say Ed probably is the type to like the softer metal/rock genre type stuff? Not so much the screaming, if that makes sense? Or more classical tunes that would be more similar to back home given the time differences. I'm not sure if I could quite pick one single favourite song for him overall though, really. I have a few that remind me of him/the series in general but whether they would be songs he would like I'm less sure on exactly.
