the QUESTION meme

Simple and easy! Here's how it goes:

1. POST a top-level with your character name

2. REPLY to other people's top-level with a question for that character

3. ANSWER the question you were asked

4. ASK a question of that person's characters in return!

We go back and forth like this asking questions in a thread until one or both of us runs out of questions!

QUESTIONS CAN BE ANYTHING. Serious or silly as you want! What does Jane think of (x)? What does Sarah have for breakfast? How many times a day does Alex masturbate? What's Tom's dream job? The only limit for questions is your imagination.

Replies can be as monosyllabic or as tl;dr are you want; it's up to you. Go wild kids!

Ahahaha Skye really has no clue at this point-- everything is just a shot in the dark. Each thing is as likely as the next to her. But in no particular order, the ones she's thought of are:

- Gifted?? (aka the MCU version of a mutant)
- Alien??
- Inhuman?
- Clone baby/scientific experiment
- Skrull

(The Inhuman and the Skrull theories are both courtesy of her speaking to certain 616 people in MoM about what she could be-- she wouldn't have come up with them on her own, haha.)

cry a lot and probably have a breakdown on skye because #besties. she's been bottling a lot of her issues up but they've been slowly unraveling in convos with loki and scott and she's steadily moving towards actually coping instead of avoiding so it'll hopefully be a well-timed punch to the gut for her to just finally lose it over her best friend being dead. skye going to jail is also likely to prompt more distress on the subject out of her in her thread w stiles because it's like nO I COULDN'T HELP ALLISON AND NOW SHE'S DEAD I'M GOING TO HELP SKYE. BEST FRIEND. because it's hard to watch stiles and scott just constantly bro down and live with that while knowing her best friend isn't just not here, but gone 5eva.

what are the chances of skye forgiving ward?

Man, it's hard to separate my answer on this question based on what I think the show is going to do. On a meta-textual level, I feel like the chances are good just because that seems to be the direction that the show is going in, albeit very slowly. I don't think it'll be until the end of season 2 or maybe even beginning of season 3. But I'm pretty sure it'll happen eventually. However, if I were writing the show, I'd say the chances would be FUCKING NEVER. So. Yeah.

If you had unlimited free time and energy and could app a third to MoM, who would you app?

well i was more wondering wrt mom rather than canon, which strictly speaking IS you writing the show. so feel free to expand more on that!!

i'd app natasha romanoff from 616. as it stands i might just do mcu instead? but i'm gonna try and read enough 616 to do it. lana lang from smallville is tempting too tho. i want an actual superhero-y superhero.

OH OKAY IN MOM. DIFFERENT QUESTION THEN.

Ha ha ha my personal feelings are that Skye in MoM will probably never forgive Ward, unless of course I eventually canon update her to a point at where she has done so already in the show. For her to do so would require for maaaaaassive amounts of change and effort and dedication to atoning on Ward's part. And right now, he hasn't even shown (to Skye, at least) that he feels guilty for what he's done. He hasn't apologised. Instead he's... stalked her and then beat up her boyfriend within an inch of his life. So. NOT ... off to a great start there. I'm open to the possibility of it but it would be a very long haul.

Also shrieks I love MCU Natasha, I'd love to see her in MoM. NOT THAT I'M BIASED. OR ANYTHING. (We could trade stories about Melinda May tho!!)

i think my biggest hesitation is that i always aklgjegkls about mcu/616 bc i don't like that there could be someone else playing basically my same character sobs it leads to massive insecurities but i also ... keep REALLY wanting to do it so. one version of natasha is probably inevitable.

My fave is my headcanon for how she was as a teenager, since we don't really get any elaboration on what she was like growing up or why she dropped out of HS other than she was "a lot messed up." So I headcanon that she was this angry rebellious teen that was like RAR RAR RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE all the time. Had a tomboy phase, had an Avril Lavigne and Hot Topic phase, etc. She has a helix ring in her upper ear which we don't get to see very often because her hair is always over it, which I headcanon is a remnant from that phase. YEAHH GET PIERCINGS MY SUBURBAN WHITEBREAD FOSTER FAMILY WILL DISAPPROVE OF!!! She says she "stopped caring" about her foster families and whether they liked her or not after her third one, but from the way she says it I just don't think that's true. Especially as a nine year old-- it's hard to totally not care about what people think of you and not crave validation. If anything, the way that she latches on to Coulson after his validation of her so quickly proves that it's really something she did want all along. She just didn't know how to cope with what she thought was constant rejection by her foster families, so she tried to show how much she AGGRESSIVELY DIDN'T CARE!!!!!!!! Like that child who pushes hard at every boundary they can to see how much they can get away with.

lydia was probably in stuco during sophomore year and opted not to run for junior year because she didn't want to lose horribly after everyone thought she was crazy :')
